I've been using this app for years and I just love it. It has everything you can imagine and much more. I've tried several other apps on iPad and PC, but this one is truly the very best. Everything works great and very user friendly. And if a problem ever arises out of the millions of possibilities: a quick email to John and the problem will be solved. Thank you for this wonderful app, your excellent service and your knowledge.

I've used just about all of the apps you'll find below under "this might interest you" but there's none that can hold a candle to this Luminos Pro. This app here works under four languages, German; English; French and Spanish. You will find in it not only three, four catalogs, but ESO, LBN, LDN, Collinder, Melotte, Trumpler, King, Cederblad, Gum, PN, PK, Stock, vdBH, Markarian Galaxies, Markarian Clusters, UGC, MCG , and Harvard in addition to Messier, NGC, IC, etc. Luminos Pro supports push-to-telescopes with support for basic interfaces such as Nexus II DSC and DSC by Dave Ek, as well as intelligent LX200 interfaces such as Nexus DSC Pro . Multipoint alignment is supported for push-to, PMC-Eight and mounts using the "LX200 compatible" protocol. Visibility charts support sorting by size for user watch lists. I used Luminos for many years and switched now to the new flagship Luminos Pro. A very huge database and a brilliant translation of nearly everything (only very few parts are still English) into a very good German. That big work is worth to be supported with the buy of a subscription.
