Dark mode please

Flipmo0 on

Netherlands

Failed to login in a couple of times , the sign in screen appears and disappears realy quick. By finger tapping on the place where the field comes i am able to force the login screen to stay. Please fix. And yeah darkmode :) #update: it looks like the login works, cant reproduce the bug.

Promising, but not there yet

Great step towards more privacy on the web. Still missing dark mode, organizing chats (folders, tags, etc). Would be great to also be able to connect to my own private server so I could centralize all chats in one app

Te geprogrammeerd

trushenk on

Netherlands

Dag Lumo…. 👋🏽

Good idea but hallucinates heavily

App4App8App on

In principle I really like the idea of a privacy first LLM platform. I’m already skeptical of the usefulness of LLMs and I think people ascribe far too much consciousness and understanding to what is essentially a glorified autocomplete program, but sadly Lumo seems extremely prone to hallucination, rendering its output even less reliable than that of OpenAI’s GPT-3. If the output gets better I will definitely consider using it more!

Just one thing missing

Cats thrive in darkness. Lumo needs dark mode!

Possibly promising, but feels rushed

Mostly Harmless Reviewer on

Netherlands

As much as I like the idea of Proton trying they’re hands at a private AI assistant, this release feels very rushed. Bugs I encountered: 1. Sessions are not persistent. I was signed out several times with no apparent reason. 2. Sessions are not listed in the security section of my Proton account. 3. Lumo claims not to be able to access the web even when I enable web access.

Not there yet!

I like where Lumo is heading, but it’s not quite there yet. Right now, the AI costs more than Proton Unlimited, which feels steep for what it offers. Including it in the Unlimited plan would make it much easier to recommend while it continues to grow.

Better than others!

Very good that we finally have a privacy friendly LLM. The answers seem to be more concise and to the point than other LLMs. Only feature requests are dark mode and being able to upload a screenshot (ctrl-v).

Good Start

Happy to see proton getting into the game of LLM chatbots. Good start but will wait to adopt until more features are added to the UI and UX. For example projects to group chats, project prompt contexts, and general prompt contexts.
