I like that you only pay once for the premium subscription but I want video all the time and it only does video for 60 seconds at a time when I’m not on WiFi. I use this app at my grandmother’s house and she doesn’t have WiFi so I have to keep pressing stream video. It also is very basic
It disconnected every 3 or 4 minutes. It kept pushing to buy premium. Annoyingly. Multiple times with no way to turn it off. I don’t trust it and would never use it to monitor a child. Not reliable
I foolishly signed up for the paid version before realizing that this is not the app for me. I couldn’t find anywhere on the app or site to cancel, and it’s not listed in my apple subscriptions so I emailed support last week. I was just charged again. Another email to support. Buyer beware.
The sound/volume sensitivity settings are not intuitive. There is a window air conditioner and a noise machine in our baby’s room, unless the sensitivity setting are set to low this app always thinks the baby’s awake due to general noises in the room. Beyond that I was not able to find a way to keep the audio streaming on at all times (in which case I could actually use this app as a baby monitor). Eventually the audio streaming just turns off and you’re at the mercy of the app to determine if your kid woke up before your phone will ding. Example of what it’s like to use Luna: A fire truck drove by with its siren going and the app thought the baby was awake, then the baby was actually crying at one point and the app said “baby is asleep”. They have to either retool this app, give users better instructions/documentation, or at the very least let me stream the audio at all times. I wouldn’t recommend this service, and honestly I feel like an idiot for paying for premium (even though the app UX kind of forces you to make that purchase). I will be buying an actual baby monitor today instead.
Charged us to use premium and doesn’t work. Avoid
The connection is always some how interrupted, I have to restart it. Some how the alerts don’t go off anymore and my sound don’t work for the audio. There is a 10 second delay on the video and the alert settings are confusing. I wouldn’t recommend not for the price.
Paid the premium fee and it won’t work off WiFi. Incredibly disappointing. Also doesn’t have a feature to talk back through the monitor if your baby wakes up. Buy a different app.
I needed something very rudimentary to monitor audio for brief periods of time and this seemed to fit the bill; big mistake. Works for two minutes then harasses you to subscribe. I refused.
Never streams audio. Or video.
I paid the 12 dollar amount and it can’t stream video or audio. I only get a static image once and it never updates.
