Lunar Silver Star Story Touch

Na 40 minuten gevecht met de eindbaas (pfft, alle items van alle spelers gebruikt, was close ;) wou net opgeven ;) ), heb ik het uitgespeeld. Leuk spel, alleen crashte hij best vaak, wat best irritant was (door vaak te saven was het te doen). Ook deden de filmpjes het niet altijd... (Zwart scherm, wel geluid). Daardoor 4 ipv 5 sterren. Daarnaast kwam ik er pas achter dat er een ondertiteling was bij de filmpjes na de eindbaas, best jammer...

I missed out on this one back in the day. But the game is really great! A bit sloppy controls but that does not detract too much.

When I saw this game in the appstore I bought it without hesitation as this game was one of the crown jewels in my youth. The first thing I noticed when starting the game is the change of the intro music. It's probably the difference between the european and the american version of the game. The Voices of some characters have changed too, you can clearly hear it when you meet Nall at the start. This actually has a bad influence on my gameplay. I would like the other voices back. Is there any way? I hope so..

Zoals de titel al zegt! Al heeft het concept bij deze een paar kleine minpuntjes! 1. Je zou de 'slechte' besturing maar even met een korreltje zout moeten nemen. De analog stick is te gevoelig en de personages bewegen erg snel waardoor je ze niet echt onder controle hebt (maar je kan gelukkig ook op n plek op het scherm 'tappen' om ze daar naartoe te laten lopen). En 2. Ik heb een paar keer ervaren dat het spel zichzelf in één keer afsloot (ik speel dit op een iphone 4s) waardoor ik vanaf m'n laatste savepunt weer moest opstarten (maar als je maar regelmatig saved is ook dit probleem maar klein...). En in tegenstelling tot de kleine nutteloze "spelletjes" die meestal geen boeiende verhalen bevatten, is deze port van de originele PlayStation klassieker één van de weinige complete en epische spellen wat mij, in ieder geval, boeit en dat zorgt ervoor dat ik maar blijf doorspelen om toch o.a. alle mooie animatie scènes te bewonderen! Als je van de oldskool rpg's houdt en van japanese anime, zal ik absoluut geen tweede keer twijvelen! Hopelijk zal een update in de toekomst de besturing verbeteren en het plotseling afsluiten van het spel oplossen. Als rpg fan geef ik dit spel een welverdiende 8.3!

Great game played it out on the playstation, its amazing to see it on the ipad, but oddly the songs are a little different. I don't understand the point of changing the music I hope their would be an option to have the old music, also sometimes the cut scenes end a teeny bit short. I am glad that their are updates coming to improve the transition to ipad because this is a great rpg which holds its own even today. Well worth the pricetag.

Dit is en blijft een "Old school" juweel Moest wennen aan t interface en soms wilt het spel vertragen maar na een reboot gaat tie weer als een ballerina op schaatsen. Kortom voor de RPG kenners is dit een must!! Game on.
