This game cheats

It literally screws you lol. You can have triple the troops and lose. It never does this to itself. It’s just plain dumb 🤣

Being playing for years

Excellent and simple turn based strategy game. Many hours of enjoyment and easy to play. Great for a quick game with many tile sets to learn.

Best Risk like game out there.

No, no song on

If you like a ton of maps to choose from this it the game for you. I’ve played this for years now, and wish they’d add some more.

Bad Probability Math

Blueferrett22 on

United States

I’ve played risk-style games for years and understand there is a certain element of luck when playing any of these types of games. However, the probability factor of this game is WAY off. I’ve consistently had many times the armies of an opposing AI player and still lost, curiously at a higher rate of loss every single time I am about to “eliminate” another player. Which is interesting knowing that a basic probability generator (aka roll of a dice) is fairly basic to code. Whatever the developers have done here is overly complicated and downright unfair. I’m surprised they’ve spent so much of their time rigging the game.

Incredibly frustrating don’t waste your money

This is my third time reviewing. My previous reviews have been deleted - very unethical. I used to love this game but the AI makes it unplayable. My last game I had 140 plus armies against none and almost all of the map. The last opponent had 2 cards and 5 territories with no armies. On the next turn the computer opponent wiped out all of my armies and had taken all of the territories except 3. This kind of unbalanced play is ridiculous. Rolls almost always go in the computers favor. Computer opponents get random army draws. It is nearly impossible to win unless the board is severely staked in your favor to start. Thanks for ruining what was a good game.

Excellent time killer

I’ve played Lux on and off for like a decade, mostly on desktop. The iPhone version is one of my favorite mobile games and easily worth the asking price.

What happened? I’ve been playing this game for years and I love it, but it just stopped working. I deleted it and downloaded it again but now I can’t download any maps. I just get a server error. Is it no longer supported?

No offline support

It's just stacking cans on

Game crashes without a network connection. What data does it steal?

Not like the real game because offense has advantage in this game

DfreshOK on

In the real game of risk the defense has the advantage because all ties on the roll go to the defense. If they would fix this problem I would give it 5 stars. Until ten 1 star.

Fix the AI or Whatever It Is

This games was awesome. I quit playing for awhile but now you have to have an overwhelming numbers advantage to consistently win. Routinely a country with 1 or 2 armies defends against an attack with 8-12 armies. Happens more than half time.
