I am a commercial lighting professional. Forgot my light meter at home, downloaded this app with the free trial. The readings seemed really far off of what I expected. After returning home I laid the phone next to my AEMC CA811 light meter on a counter. This app was wildly off. Do not recommend.
BEWARE i down loaded to test it this morning did not like in first 2 minutes while looking it over so uninstalled app and now i see its in my purchase as a $5.29 usd charge. disputing it with apple which i have found are useless. i will block charges at bank. about ready to drop iphone in the river support is comical if you can call it support
No, I will not subscribe to a light meter app.
But that’s okay. What I didn’t like was 1- had take on subscription to try the product. Not clear in the product description 2- when a notice offered to rate the product and I answered i wasn’t satisfied, I was given an email to send a message rather than this review process. I would argue these are deceptive practices. Not good. Thanks
forget it. what a ripoff
You can tell this isn't legit because it does not mention a diffuser. The light reading is 3000lux off. It is saying 1000 but my other devices say 4000 and my plants are healthy. This thing would make my plants.
seems relatively accurate for measuring the intensity of the led setup I have for my plants. The graph is extremely useful for measuring how quickly intensity drops off as the sensor is moved from the light!
Works well for me. Clean and simple interface, and the real time view is very useful. Needs a spot meter indicator, and perhaps an option for 1/3 and 1/2 stops at the minimum, but it's easy to interpolate exposure when things aren't perfectly aligned. Also hope to see more ISO options if it ever gets updated
Very disappointed, poor quality app. Don’t even bother to download.
