App crashes repeatedly. Loses connection without reason. Due to repeated problems, I tried to remove the app and thermostat and reset. The app crashes when I click on my thermostat type to add. What a complete waste. It doesn’t even deserve 1 star.
Woke up at 3am because it was 80 degrees in the home in a sweat. Even though I set the thermostat to cool 72. Figure maybe I should connect it to my WiFi. So downloaded the app and proceeded attempting to connect it. Here 3 hours late after some how the a/c turn back on around 5am. The App doesn’t connect at all. Is now 7am n I give up after reading reviews. Don’t waste your time and change thermostats ASAP if possible. 0 to negative 5 Stars. Waste of time.
I had some issues with the thermostat and had to reset it and therefore I had to delete and re add the kono smart thermostat. Every time I click to add the kono smart the app shuts me out. I will have to go back to the Google nest thermostat and throw this product out the window. Worst experience ever.

The IAQ setting doesn’t work for our fan. It would be very helpful to allow scheduling of the fan, as I need it to come on following bumps to temperature in the morning. Stopped connecting to app and customer service was easily reached and diagnosed the issue. Very helpful
Ever time I try to add a thermostat it force closes the app. I don’t know how else I can fix this or what else I can do
My Kono smart thermostat disconnected from the app. Every time I select the Kono in the options the app crashes instantly and won’t let me reconnect the unit.
The thermostat says it’s connected to my network. The app says it is not connected and it could take up to 65 minutes to reconnect. It’s been 2 days. Does not work the way it is supposed to work. When you check the usage it’s not helpful either the hours and the bars are not lined up more of a headache than anything else. My power company provides better info than this thermostat app.
If your batteries are low, it will - by design- shut off it’s WiFi connection. You’ll lose connectivity to the app. Then you call customer service. Wouldn’t it be easier if the display screen just tells you “replace batteries to restore WiFi”?
