I have been using this app for almost a year now. Generally, I think the app is not as bad as some reviews. It's not brilliant and yes, they can and should make it better, but it gives me how the solar and the batteries are performing. I can configure the rate and set when to charge the battery. It's pretty granular in that aspect which I do like. Some of the bits I would like to comment and hopefully the developers might change or to improve it. 1) Since the last update to version 2.0.8. The "Start Quick Charge" button is massive. Being left-handed when using my phone, I kept touching the quick charge by mistake and having the battery charged to full at the expensive day rate without knowing. Only to find out when I next reopen the app or having to manually press the tiny refresh button and by that time it’s too late. 2) One of the main features of this app is for us to see how the solar panels are doing. It would be amazing to have it auto refresh by itself every 10 seconds or so. If you are going to make us manually refresh it via a button. Then at least you can make the button bigger because that button is so tiny compared to everything else and I click on that the most from the main page. 3) After version 2.0.6 update. At the bottom of the main page on the iPhone app, I noticed the battery description. It looks static, pointless, uses half of the screen and it doesn’t really do much. Why make it so big, just make it smaller so it’s not as intrusive compared to everything else. Thanks.
It just isn’t connecting to the system, the app has now been down for 3 days for us & the connectivity has been very hit and miss.
Need real time or ability to refresh data
I find the app very useful- it is a bit frustrating that the refresh rate isn’t great and you have to log out and log back in often to get up to date info. But it allows me to do all that I want/need to do. The tech support is very responsive and helpful too
Since a recent update, the app has a tendency to switch charging from the grid ‘on’, all on its own. So you get unwanted import. This is irrespective of how regularly you charge to 100%. Now if I don’t want to import, I have to wipe all the charge settings.
This app is improving with every update. The developers have responded positively to any app issues and over time resolved all the bugs. Gives you good control over your inverter’s setting’s making it possible to change charging times etc. Well done LuxPower 👍
The app on iPhone 12 will not show the import section, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still no success? I have written an email with details and still no response, hence I’m here!!!!
Since this update the import data has disappeared!! Please return it ASAP.
This week, since the app was updated, it is more often offline than online. Please check this out.
