Good when I can open it
I keep getting a message that says I need to subscribe. When I hit restore purchases BECAUSE I’VE ALREADY subscribed, it says purchase not found. Then I have to delete the app and re add it each and every time. Irritating

I am unable to reach my notifications in a timely manner because of the game screen that comes up first. I don’t mind advertisements but this is rediculous.
The title says it all!
I’m so thankful that this app is available and I’m able to enjoy the news and current events. Keep up the great work!
I have a Sunday subscription and like to see the news on my iPad. I refuse to pay for this because of the many, many, crappy ads. Can’t you just offer the news like WSET does?
Tornado in progress and no news, no updates, no nothing!
My expectations for local news are pretty low. My expectations for local news apps is even lower due to their small budgets. However, Lynchburg's News&Advance newspaper is not only a good source of news around here, but the app runs smoothly as well. It's not perfect but it's certainly worth it.
The best source for locks news in Lynchburg and the surrounding counties. The articles are thorough and regularly updated and the app pushes notifications of significant news events to your phone so you can stay in the know.
I use it while I am away from the lynchburg area just to be aware of what is happening there. It is easy. But the news should have more state appeal, same with the newspaper. There is very little that I care to read.
I've been using the News & Advance app for years. Sure it's bogged down with large and obnoxious ads on every single page, but I figured since it was free, I really couldn't complain. Now, as of the latest update, after 25 articles you must have a subscription ... And, there are still ads!!! This is why I cancelled the physical paper subscription. The prices went up and the amount of ads in my paper continued to increase as well. Now, I've deleted this app as it appears they are using the same business model. I'll continue to get my news from real free sources that are more up to date in the first place (TV, Radio, WFXR/WSLS/WDBJ/WSET apps).
