I love this app. Have been using it for nearly two years. It's been stable but today keeps crashing and now will not open. Please help. Also, a counter for songs that have been playlists would be a great feature! ;) Ps: I've done all the necessary rebooting of my device and still no change.
I have just bought this app, and I like what it can do. I have recently started getting vocal (sing) training and will use this app to manage the lyrics of my songs. What I like about this app: 1) It stores the lyrics inside itself with editor to quickly edit the lyrics (I add a few symbols to the lyrics so that I can remember what needs to happen at that time). 2) You can easily group songs together for a performace. 3) It can import music from TXT files (I save all my lyrics in TXT files as they are small and I can apply any font I want to them). A few things that I would like to be improved: 1) More options regarding the fonts (currently only Helvitica, Georgia and American Typewriter). I would like to use the Chalkboard font (it is easier on the eye and more informal) with center alignment (currently there is only left alignment). 2) When you change the slider (for night or day view), only the text color and background of the Lyrics Display Area changes (and not the rest of the app), thus if you set it to the night view, the rest of the app is very bright and distracting. Other apps have a brightness slider and a switch for day/night view and this applies to the whole app. Extra features I would love: 1) Registers itself to open TXT from any app (using the Open In... function). All my Lyrics are in DropBox, it will help a lot to say Open In Lyrics+ and have it imported. 2) iPhone version (synced via DropBox or iCloud), for those quick edits and times when I do not have my iPad nearby. 3) Import lyrics from currently playing song (reading the ID3 Tag - I have an app that can do this "Lyrics View"). I also have all my lyrics inside each song's ID3 Tag. 4) Link lyric to Song (if I am playing a song on my iPad and open Lyrics+, it should display the lyrics for that song); have the autoscroll get the song play time to scroll the right time. Besides this, it is a nice app (also a pity it was updated so long ago) and I will still use it.
