I wish you could zoom in at a large scale to separate the bus stops that are close to or overlapping one another. Sometimes it hard selecting the right bus stop because bus stops close to one another will overlap Another option would be to have a smaller icon for bus stops.
This thing is an excuse for an app. It must’ve been designed by a City Councillor’s son in his basement 20 years ago. It has terrible functionality, no real app navigation. The “Busses near me” feature doesn’t give you the full story. When it goes to the map, it starts off as a map of the planet and only uses the location after you are forced play with it. When you finally get your location, the app usually has stop icons on the other side of the street blocking the stop you want. There is no return to previous menu feature, the notifications icon never erase so you never know if there is an important notification occurring. Using Google maps is only marginally better. You may as well overhaul the damned thing. Time to move into the 21st century Metrobus! I’m tired of using crap that is never tweaked, barely updated and has a terrible trip planner. I know the city doesn’t want to spend the money to make transit more reliable, but have a heart and read these reviews. How it got a 3 star rating is beyond me.
It works sometimes, but it looks like garbage, and is literally just a portal to a mobile formatted version of the metro bus website. Seriously needs a new app, hopefully we get one.
I love the advantage of filling up my card on my phone, but I’d really like it if the app just saved my info so I don’t have e to enter it each time.
When you are using timetrack, wait for the page to completely load. It seems that you can scroll while it is loading but if you try to view a bus it will just jump to the top and load the first bus in the list. Would have five stared if it wasn’t for that!
Always works for what I need
Forget the printed schedules this app tracks the bus as it comes to your bus stop.
This app is useless offline. I cannot access any information on the app if I do not have wifi, especially if I'm waiting at my bus stop and I want to look at the time track to see where the bus is on my route. Even though I checked the time track before I left the house this morning and it said my bus was on time, it would have been VERY useful to know that my bus was over 30 minutes late when I was early and still waiting at my bus stop past the scheduled time it was supposed to arrive. The time track is not updated frequently enough, nor is it accessible to those without wifi waiting at their bus stop. Also, there is no security verification for reloading your Metrobus card on the app. One day, when I was about to finalize my Visa payment to reload my card, I realized the ID number for my Metrobus card was off by one number and the app did NOTHING to recognize this mistake or verify that is was my Mcard ID. Therefore, the app would have let me pay to reload SOMEONE ELSE'S CARD INSTEAD OF MINE if I had not picked up on this mistake. This app is slow, inaccessible offline, it's time track is not frequently updated enough, and there is no ID verification for Mcard reloads. Either fix this piece of work of an app or change your company's slogan because my experience with the Metrobus app has not been "Taking it easy", it's been underwhelming, disappointing, unreliable, and may potentially rob you of your money due to lack of security and ID verification.
Great app just needs to let you manage favorite stops and that’ll be awesome!!
