Mackie FreePlay Connect

I am stuck having to keep my iPad out of date because after upgrading to iOS 16 the app no longer connects to the loudspeaker. You can still stream Bluetooth but the Freeplay connect app can’t find the speaker. Please update app.

I connected to my Mackie speakers with my iPhone, played music to make sure I was connected and then opened this Freeplay App and it just spun nonstop trying to connect. NEVER did. Again my phone was already connected to the speakers so the app not connecting is absolutely ridiculous. This app is GARBAGE. Do better Mackie, you’re an embarrassment

Took this to a small gathering and it wouldn’t connect to my iPhone or my iPad. Left me in a lurch. It worked a grand total of 3 times. I’ve updated the software and still nothing.This is crap. Save your money.

This app isn’t creating a connection to any of my iOS devices anymore. Says still searching and only offers demo mode despite having an iOS Bluetooth connection in Bluetooth settings. Same on all devices. It’s an app problem.. Please update!

No connection. Deleted and re-downloaded app. iPhone connects to the speaker but the app no longer finds it, so I have no control over the settings.

This app worked fantastic until I updated to iOS 16. Now it doesn’t work at all…..

You need to fix this asap! I almost had to cancel a gig because the app won’t open with this new iOS update. Thank god my wife hasn’t updated her phone yet and I was able to open it with her phone and not lose out on money! Please fix this this week!!!

App is super simple and easy for anyone to use, but the app sometimes does not connect to my devices. Especially my iPad
