Macro Mode

No options for photo size or JPEG. Photos save in HEIF, video saves in HEVC. Would be nice to have settings. Curious why it’s using my location even with it switched off. My old generation 2 iPad without good image stabilization is very difficult to hold still but it works better on my iPhone 12 Pro. It works and the photo looks great, good option for devices without a macro setting.

I needed to take macro photos and videos on my iPhone 11. I buy a clip lens, it works but awkward to use, low depth of field and a circular shadow around the edges. I search for a simple and inexpensive solution. I decided to try Macro Mode app. Not as close as my 24x lens, but so much easier to use, fast focus system with excellent results. Bravo and thanks to the developer. Highly recommended!

Doesn’t work on iPhone 12 Max Pro. I can’t get clear shots any closer than I can without this app. A refund would be nice.

Simple and effective. The only problem is the peak color is green which is hard to see when I’m taking pics of any plants

This app is perfect for macro mode . Clarity is little issue. So update very soon and add ai too.

I was hoping it would improve my camera but it is a app. Alone I don’t set the advantage. I kept it to keep trying because it was a pay app. For me, a 5 out of 10.

Don’t buy this unless you want to provide access to all your photos, which I don’t. I use Snapseed and other apps without giving access to my photos i.e. its not something that’s necessary.

I am impressed by the simplicity and ease of use of this app, while at the same time I feel empowered with many more macro features than the stock app (namely manual focus). My only gripe is that there are no options for the file type of image export, so I’m stuck taking photos with HEIC format which doesn’t work well with all devices.

Useless for iPhone 13 pro max

My wife has macro mode on her iPhone 13 Pro Max. I tried using this app on my iPhone 12 Pro Max to see if I could get similar results. Unfortunately, this app doesn’t work at all. I’m not really sure what this app is supposed to do.
