Version 3.0 is the first version we are submitting which uses Swift Package Manager for loading some 3rd party libraries including Firebase. Also changed in this version is how the 'Recent' sort order option works - previously it was indexed on the dateAdded attribute, now we have added a new dateModified attribute which is used for the Recent sort. Also updated was the continuous-scrolling ability for the Featured book crawl (bottom of Book tab). Additionally, all 3rd party libraries were updated to their most recent versions.

Update:
After working with customer service I’ve gotten 400/500 books back! Thank goodness!! They were insanely helpful in this process. Be sure to back up your books in an extra source as well! Thanks so much to the helpful staff at madreader!!!!
I’ve had this app well over a year probably close to two years now. I spent a lot of time and effort putting all my books into this app, categorizing every single one and maintaining everything when I read them. I had almost 600 books. I opened the app last night to add a finished date and I find it WIPPED CLEAN. ALL off my books and data are GONE. I had everything logged in and backed up thinking it would save me. So I logged off and attempted to log back in hoping it was just an error. Now it won’t even let me log back in. Every time I’ve tried it pops up with an error message. I absolutely loved this app prior to this and now I’m extremely disappointed and crushed. Beware to all organized readers who like to keep a digital library. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
Great App But One Thing
I absolutely love this app and all the features it has. There’s just one tiny thing that annoys me; I like to always have my books sorted by the date read, so I see the most recent reads at the top and whatnot. But whenever I exit out of the app and go back it automatically has it sorted by status which means I’m always having to switch it back which gets annoying. It’s nothing major but would be nice if it could be fixed since it only started doing this recently.
Great app, but needs an upgrade for the book covers.
It works great and has a lot of detail that gets entered automatically which is nice. Definitely a nice app and makes a cataloging very easy with the barcode entry and scan feature.
I just wish that the covers or images that are added for each book would be high resolution. As they are right now they are super duper low res as if the images were taken with a disposable camera, scanned in to a computer in 1990, printed out, and then scanned again for upload. It’s the one disappointing part of the app, but the developer has said they are working on that. Hopefully soon it will be open eyed and I can give a full five stars to this app.
Great app
This is a perfect app for tracking the books I have read.
Recommend with a few reservations
Really liked this at first. I’ve run across a few books with the book description being totally wrong. There is a banner on the bottom with book ads/recommendations BUT over the last 2 weeks I’ve started to also get banner ads across the middle of the screen (usually for other apps) which is irritating. I guess this is the price of it being free but I would pay for it if was offered as ad-free.
I LOVE this app
I don’t ever do reviews, really, but I had to for this app. From someone who loves to read— I’ve often picked up random books at garage sales or goodwill, read it, then passed it along to someone else. I already have four bookcases stuffed with my favorite books, so I’m hard pressed for space. BUT, it drives me nuts when I can’t remember the name or the author of a book I want to read again or maybe recommend to a friend.
OR, say someone mentions a book in a show, or at work, and you want to look up more info or read it later, but can’t remember the name? This app solves all those problems, and I just love love love it.
You can make lists for everything, books you’ve read, books you want to read, and you can make notes about each one, note your start and end day, etc. Just love it, well done.
Everything Is Perfect; Except One
I love how simple it is and how you can put the date of when you started and finished it. The feature where it counts the amount of books read per month is really nice as well. But I have one complaint. The barcode scanner does not work. Every time I try using it, it says ISBN number not found. It is a lot easier to scan then to input the title of every book.
What I've been searching for
After abandoning Goodreads, I struggled for years to find a good (simple) way to track my reading and get a better handle on my TBR. This app does everything I needed and more.
Also, the customer service is responsive and knowledgeable. They listen to feedback too!
I love this app so much that I'd be willing to pay or at least send in a donation to the developers.
Great app but a few things would make it perfect
Update: Starting on September 9 I started having issues with this app shutting down every time I enter a new book title. It also shut down in the FAQ section of the app 3 times in a row and I wasn’t able to submit a question to the developers of this app. I have entered over 1000 books that I have read and really like the app. I am hoping that the developers can fix this issue.
This is a great app for tracking the books that you have read, want to read, and haven’t had time to finish yet. It lets you track audio books, kindle and traditional books. It allows you to differentiate between books borrowed from kindle unlimited, subscription services (like Audible Escape) and library books. I have a wish list of features that I would like to see. Since I listen to a lot of audio books I would like to see the narrators of books. Currently I am using the notes box to add this information. However the notes box is black and so is the text that I am copying and pasting from Audible, so every time I do this I also need to change the ink color in this box so that it isn’t invisible. The app doesn’t easily allow for books with more than one author, and I would like to see book series information when I am looking up the books that I have read. I have been looking for a way to track my reading for a long time and this really is a great app.
Just what I was looking for
I wanted to track my books with most of the functionality of Goodreads, but without the public aspect—prayer answered. I can share to social if I want, but if not I just have seamless tracking of my reads. Easy to use and pretty. Highly recommend.
