How much does Magic Poser cost?
Magic Poser has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is $7.09.
ive used it for years and theyve progressively widdled down the features behind more paywalls, you cant add a second light source for free? really?
what next, pay to move the head? pay to rotate camera?
its sadly the best poser app, and they know it. thats why they can put up pro/premium versions and slowly take away free features. eventually this will be an app you have to buy, calling it now.
if someone develops a similar app with less money hunger, i think everyone would use that one. if a programmer is reading this, please for the love of god, do this. i beg of you.
Used to love this app
I used to love this app until they made everything expensive. Adding more than one character costs money now???! I miss this app for the way it was in the past. It was really useful and it has great UI but unfortunately I can barely use it now.
Kinda disappointed
I’m kinda disappointed because this used to be a simple, fun, useful poser app.But now everything is super complicated, almost everything costs something, and I can’t do simple anime models anymore…🙁
Free models to now you have to pay?
So most models were free but now cost money, this app has truly gone downhill, it’s truly disappointing.
Female model costs money
I literally don’t understand why the only free model is a buff guy, if you were gonna have only one model it should’ve been gender neutral at least
Great app but master level is too much
The pro features are good, but if there was an option for a one time payment for master level this app would be great. There aren’t enough uses of master level subscription to justify the cost, but they are useful enough where it is frustratingly out of reach. If I could speak directly with the developers about pricing I would happily adjust my rating. The pro subscription should at least be able to export 3D if nothing else.
Besides that it’s the best drawing reference app I have found.
Problems
I logged into my old account all of my characters and items are unavailable and say i need “master” or “pro”
I miss the old version
It’s unfair I can’t choose at least one girl skin when I wanna draw a girl :(
Good App, missing one key feature
I think this is the best posing app on the market, however, the inability to save poses hurts a lot. If I pose the model in a specific way, I don’t see why I shouldn’t be allowed to save that pose as a preset so I can reuse it in other scenes, or so I don’t lose it. This one simple feature would make the app feel complete, in my opinion.
Great and Easy to use Until…
I’ve used this app for a long time and it’s very helpful when making art! It speeds up the process and is quite fun if done correctly!
However, I’ve paid for the Pro version a while back to unlock the features I wanted (such as the other anime models), which was completely fine, but now all those features are on Master, which, in my opinion was a little unnecessary and overall, a bit too expensive for artists.. It’s really made me rethink about continuing to use this app or not, and to me, it’s kinda not fair considering I’ve had access to most of the content before, but suddenly overnight, I don’t anymore..
I’m aware it’s for making more money, but it frustrates me knowing that for people like me that are just using this app casually (not for commercial use/ commissions/ etc.), have to spend as much as artists that actually get paid for this type of work. I don’t have those financial resources and I draw for myself as a hobby most of the time, so I feel that now I can’t like I used to. Younger people that don’t have a job that like to draw may also be very limited in the content they can access, and this subscription method will probably cause them to discontinue using this app as well.
I apologize if this turned into me expressing my disappointments, but if this message gets through to you, thank you for taking the time to read it. I truly hope this change was worth it in the end, thank you :(
