Enjoying the game and waiting (no so) patiently for more
I have to admit, the Facebook ads got me on this one. I avoided playing for a while because I know I would spend too much money on it like I have with other games (Arcana for example). Then I ended up breaking my arm and being out of work for a while so I decided to see if it was worth my time. I got really absorbed into the story right away, I usually play with the sound off because the voices sound a little too AI to me. I enjoy the art and the play style. I reached the end of pretty much everything I can do up to this point until they release more. I am hoping for a main story update here soon (the last one was roughly 5 months ago?). I know there isn’t a major fan base around this game from what I can tell, and it is a cozy game. There are continuity errors and bugs (I have replayed a few times and noticed some story changes from the first play through) for example when MC and Jax stay in a room at the Howling Moon there is a (paid) option to sleep in the bed together but the option was broken (at least the last time I played that scene). As well as occasional spelling errors. I’m hoping this game doesn’t die before it is finished. I’m desperately waiting for more information about Viktor’s family and the Dragon Kingdom….
Overall bad
I couldn’t get too far into it before first off turning the voice acting off. It just seems wrong right off the bat with Jax, and the first option you get to pick you have to pay instantly makes me not want to play it there are better dating sims
Nathalie
Hi am a player I was hoping you guys can make it free because while we play the game keeps getting harder and harder the more we play but for us kids we can’t pay it because of are parents I was hoping if you guys can the next update will be free plz and the game sometimes keep on glitching so hoping you can fix are problems and please make it easier
For the kids but so far I am lovely the game sorry for Trouble ❤️
Game was fun but no longer loads
I played it for quite a while despite it taking far too long to reach goals. I spent money and enjoyed it. Unfortunately it no longer opens, even after deleting, re-downloading and reinstalling, so I ended up losing money.
Good but….
Honestly, I’ve been obsessed over this game for all of 5 days I’ve been playing it. I’ve already spend a considerable amount of money on it, as I tend to do so with story based games when I’m interested enough. However I do think the game could use some tweaks here and there to really be perfect!
1. The whole profile leveling up- is WAY too hard.
2. Leveling up cards is HARD after a certain point. This could be an easy fix by adjusting the amount of “try’s” allowed at the Trial proving grounds. If more opportunities are allowed to blitz- or even more levels provided- we can get more gold and materials to continue leveling up.
This would be beneficial as you need your cards to be leveled up to continue with the tour diary to gain more XP to then level up your profile…
3. I would really like to see some consequences when you don’t selection dialogue options! I feel like no matter the dialogue choice in the main story.. that it’s just a round about way of the same thing.. it would help flesh the characters out more if they actually got upset if you reject them, or say something not to their particular liking! This could also be adjusted if their relationship is below a certain threshold.
4. I hope in the future that getting cards is easier. Whether that be more free spins, or free coins.. but it would be nice if the game wasn’t so heavily focused on we the players spending money. I would love more options to watch videos!
5. The outfits!!!! Please let us be able to purchase them with diamonds. I’m not spending $30 for one outfit change… at least for the Starry ball let us purchase those outfits cheaper with diamonds so we can see them in their outfit during that chapter. It was really disappointing for me to find out they had outfits- but I didn’t get to see them because I would have to spend $30 for each outfit.
6. Increasing the amount of daily rewards via login. This would be helpful, it could even revolve around your increased profile level. Higher the level-more enticing login rewards.
Anyways- I’ll probably spend more money 😅but I really hope to see the game improve more. It’s already hard for me to progress even after spending a bunch of real money on the game. Which is disappointing to say the least. But I’m a stickler for these games.
Please read
I want to break this up into little parts that cover what I mean by the rating. I’ll start with the bad then the good.
Pricing:
The prices are way too high. I get Apple takes a 30% cut of it all, but it’s still a lot for you to put that on a consumer. That means they are making $13.99 for an in game purchase that is 19.99. And that is also a discounted price of 85% off according to them. That pack will get you 15 event stones and maybe 5 more with the diamonds you just bought. It’s way too overpriced. Also don’t even waste your money because almost 90% of the time, you’ll be getting SR or below. Meaning you have to have 50 event coins to just hope you get the SSR card you want.
The grind:
I play a lot of games that I have to constantly grind through, but this one by far takes the cake for the worst. I have to play several battles to get to another chapter of a story. And if your cards aren’t high enough in power, then you might as well wait like 3 days to get enough stuff without purchasing a thing just to make enough to actually level up your cards to beat the next battle to read a story that takes less than a minute. The stories seem so small and the battles seem so long. Especially if you’re aiming for 3 stars on all of them. I’ve gotten nowhere even though I’m on chapter 7.
The characters:
I honestly enjoy all of them to be honest. I think the voice acting needs to be improved especially if you’re charging insane amounts of currency and people are paying for that. Victor sounds like you just took clips and uploaded it into one of those bots that will read it for you. The rest of them sound so similar. I think even at one point one character sounded like his lines were said through some old wired earbuds. The designs feel inconsistent in terms of the cards. Especially when it comes to Alistars hair length. It’s something that just bugs me when comparing his sprites and his overall dorm look and even his cards. It’s just my pet peeve I have. I also think we just jump too fast into all the romance or for some reason the characters don’t hate you after all those bad decisions you’re forced to make because you don’t want to pay 4.99 for 25 destiny stones that’ll get you if you’re lucky, 25 good choices. The characters also feel very lackluster in personalities too. It feels the game is constantly telling you what you should think about them. What their personalities are because the characters will tell you that rather than actually developing tho
It’s awesome but have some faults
That’s totally false but fun
Where?
Where is the party thing where I can pop in daily and earn a little diamond and gift???????? It was literally the only thing I came back for while not playing
I love this game a bit too much
Whoever the voice actors are, bravo! I love their voices and they do such a good job, though I do hope for Oz to get a better mic. I have spent quite a bit of money on this game so far but please keep in mind that this game is fine without it! The story is great and yes it is similar to Obey me! But this game has its own charms, and it’s just fun! I love the characters, and I haven’t had any problems. The art is amazing as well. And the developers seem to be great at going over complaints and compliments. I definitely recommend this game and great job to everyone who worked on it and continue to work on it!
Honest kinda mid
The game itself isn’t bad but you have to sell a leg and an arm to even continue the game any farther. This game is lacking a way to earn destiny stones, wanting to pick a good choice in the game but i can’t because i have 0 destiny stones and i can’t find any way to earn some which is disappointing because i genuinely enjoyed the game for a while. After about 2 weeks the game got boring because i really couldn’t continue the storyline part.
