You simply made IMAP, POP and Forwarding a paid option only! Unbelievable. Forget about users. There are plenty of other providers who are not so stupid to do so.

Ich benutze die email Adresse seit Dekaden noch bevor sie von diesem scammy Verein übernommen wurde. Nun kann man sich nicht mehr aus Deutschland einloggen.

I strongly encourage everyone not to choose this e-mail provider. If you choose mail.com, you cannot be sure whether you will indeed keep access to your e-mails in the long term – a grave violation of trust. Just recently, mail.com revoked access to the inbox as it existed for years trying to force customers to buy their premium plan. Simultaneously, mail.com does not allow booking of the premium plan in most world regions. This means that many customers, including me, are now essentially unable to use their e-mail account anymore. Following correspondence with customer support, it turns out that mail.com does not indend to resolve this situation.
