Exactly what it says!

Great app! Exactly what it says, no frills or ads!! Will donate asap when i can! (I am curious if there is an option/code to make it so the keyboard itself still looks one way, IE qwerty, but the letters that show up are what's programmed? )

Figured it out!

Great app, turned out that it doesn’t like the section names to be capitalized…

I got this ipad and literally the apple landscape keyboard is too big for two thumbs typing, with this i was able to in a way split keyboard in a way I for less explaing here's how I did it q w e r t \ 1 2 3 4 / y u i o p @ a s d f g [ 5 6 7 8 9 0 ? h j k l bck shift z x c space v b n m return deleting one line made it smaller on height adding in the middle helps me type faster since they closer to the thumb. but you can do whatever honestly. you can make it look like a pc keyboard i just never figured out how to add the caps lock or idk if you can add a tab button but overall prompts.

Perfect except one tiny issue

Everything’s gone well, and it’s relatively easy to use. There’s a small problem when I try to install the keyboard using the instructions “Go to keyboards on Settings and scroll to Third Party Keyboards, select DIYKeyboard” (I’m paraphrasing a bit here) . When I do that, NOTHING shows up in third party keyboards related to this app. I don’t know if it’s an issue on my end or not, but I really want to be able to use the keyboards I make! Thanks for your time reading this.

Suggestions - almost great

Hello! I love this app, but I have a few suggestions on how to make it a bit better and some problems I have found. 1. Numbers and punctuation cannot be modified, which I wish it could. 2. I wish I could change the word ‘return’ to something in the language im making the keyboard for. 3. a second page within a keyboard would be nice, so I can add a numbers/punction page to my keyboard. 4. an ability to remove top bar(where the keyboard options are) for space for larger keyboards. 5. holding space should make the position of the cursor move. 6. Option to make the letters bigger!! 7. if theirs only two keyboards to choose from, the keyboard button immediately goes to the other keyboard instead of a dropdown.

almost the best just a few things...

Please fix the dead zones in between the keys where no input registers there is a gap where the keyboard size can still be flush with edge of the display if it has to do with the spacing being unoptimal that is understandable but it would help with overall cohesiveness as well as add option to remove the top row completely along with keyboard configuration or at least move it since its not that important most of the time (also cuz I keep accidentally pressing the hide keyboard button when typing). Otherwise great app love it! Also if you need a way to recreate this try typing the word "people" multiple times in quick succession you will find yourself encountering these issues more often than not lol.

Overall I like but I wish there was more

So far so good for making a custom keyboard. But here’s the thing, I’m making a language keyboard and was wondering if there could be an update for syllabary/compounding words. For example p=p and a=a but I want to combine them to form a new form p+a= pa is that possible?

Almost perfect.

Almost everything that this app does, it does perfectly. The only thing that I'd suggest be added would be options for more modifier layers other than caps. This would be useful for punctuation layers like on the default iOS keyboards, but it would also be useful for keyboard layouts that make use of the alt / altgraph key. Additionally, it might be nice if the keyboard-switch button had a larger hitbox, as I sometimes have a bit of trouble hitting it.

Almost Perfect

Finally found an app that lets me input my made up language! The only problem is the sizing is terrible :( I keep hitting the wrong keys because of how small they are
