As a conlanger (someone who makes full functional languages) I am VERY thankful for this app :). There is only one thing I'm curious and or think would be a great possibility, being able to use a different world or put a word on the 'space' and 'return' button. Idk if it's already a thing on this app and I just don't know how to do it but it's a cool concept.
Really hard (not cause of coding)
I just think this app was really hard because if I made like one single mistake, then went out of the app. It would reset it and there would be no letters and I would have to restart from scratch. I just thought that was really annoying. Also, I was trying to create, a secret keyboard font to send to all my friends so I was trying to change the letters around by making a symbol for each letter that didn’t work either. I made all the letters a different symbol.(numbers and other signs) and it wouldn’t work and it would just reset that was really annoying because it took a lot of time to make. I would love this issue to be fixed so I can continue making keyboards easily
So good
I love it honestly, no stupid subscription, if you know how to work it it’s easy to use. You respond to comments like a great dev. My only idea is to add more fonts because this app is perfect and it has the most potential of any font app out there. Keep up the good work. 🄿🅁🄾🄾🄵 🄸 🄾🅆🄽 🅃🄷🄴 🄰🄿🄿!
Love it!
This app is exactly what I’ve been looking for, whilst also being very user friendly. The only thing I ask for is a more in depth guide( i.e, the strings of characters that come after a symbol in the values tab, and what they mean)
Sizing option
I love this keyboard app a lot, but i would ask if you can make a sizing option or to make the keyboard size to be the same as the regular apple default size because personally the keyboard seems too small, other than that it's amazing
Doesn't work outside of the app
I'm currently trying to use this app, but I believe with the new apple update it is not working. It only works in very specific areas: using the app, in making this this review, and more place I haven't found yet. It doesn't work when texting, writing notes, and searching safari.
I really want to utilize it when texting friends, as I am currently working on an efficient layout for the Baybayin script. Please have this fixed, I think you need to have an option of "Allow Full Access" like the IPA Keyboard app has.
BRILLIANT!⭐️
I've been searching for months for an app like this! I appreciate the tutorial page as well! Superb work!
Exactly what I was looking for
I have been wanting to either find or make a keyboard that can type special math characters. This is exactly what I was looking for. The layout of the keys adjusts automatically based on how many letters are in a row, and it’s easy to implement alternate characters when you long press on a key.
My only suggestion would be to not automatically capitalize the keys specified in in the uppercase modifiers, just to allow the user a little bit more customization.
Overall I’d recommend this if you want to make a completely unique keyboard without it requiring an exuberant amount of time to set up.
This one flaw near ruins it
I love this app and what you can do with it, but i wish that this thing gets fixed soon.
If you were on an iPhone, try to tap the space between q, w, a, and s. No matter how centered you tap it, it will always lock on to a single letter.
With KBD keyboard, that doesn't happen, and sometimes, if i don't do it just right, it will not type the letter, so i would often have to type slowly, to make sure im pressing the center of the key.
This needs to change, that way it would be more flexible and easier to type with.
Easy custom keyboard
Now I can have a split (numbers and symbols in the center) dvorak keyboard on my ipad pro. Thank you!
