For You never loads.

This is my favorite fediverse app on iOS. The devs don’t seem to check (or ignore) support requests within the app. It is nicely designed, but it has issues and it seems difficult to communicate those issues to their developer(s).

Needs some UI tweaks but good overall

Solid app. Love the ability to save your place in the timeline. This app desperately needs a “go to newest” or “go to top” button

Slick Mastodon Client with One Fatal Flaw

Mastodon hasn't become an addiction to replace the formerly fun bird network that's just for toxic people and fascists now. That's fine. But it means I sometimes don't open Mammoth for days. When that happens, getting to the most recent stories, skipping the posts I missed over the past few days, is an exercise of scrolling up, refreshing the feed, and repeating. Endlessly. Why on earth would this not just skip to the most recent posts?

Nice update… unintuitive notification section

“All activity” shows everything like it should, but there’s no where to approve follower requests. Just tells you that you have follower requests and won’t let you approve or deny them in any fashion. The notification only takes you to that user’s profile. Furthermore, swiping over to the “follows” section of notifications only shows you who has been approved - totally leaves out follower requests which should also be there to approve/deny.

Great app.

The best App to use Mastodon With

The curated selections and simple yet advanced UI make this app stellar. It’s my daily driver now

It’s ok.

I’m not a fan of the navigation at the bottom. I wish they just went with standard iOS design elements. I’m also not a fan of the change to a heart instead of the star for likes. Other than that the algorithms for smart lists is pretty neat. I’ll keep it installed to see how it improves over time but I still greatly prefer Ice Cubes for Mastodon.

Mammoth is the best social web app for iOS. Skip Threads and Bluesky. This is the one you want.

Great update

Have been using Mammoth 2.0 for a few days now and it’s battling Ivory on my main homescreen! LOL It’s such a nice revision of the app. Being able to scroll left to right and vice-versa on one screen to view all the lists I am following is my favorite part of the app. Very intuitive. I also really like the sounds it makes when you navigate and do certain things in the app. Usually I have that turned off but I’ve kept it on! They admittedly have some work to do in scrolling issues and other stuff but it’s the first iteration. They are very active and plan to make regular updates so I can’t complain about that at all. I decided to support them and paid the $20 yearly. I have no prob paying to help make the apps that are important to me continue to be successful and out out updates. So I’m looking forward to see what the Mammoth team has in-store next.
