Gives me a good idea of my baseline pain level and gives me something to show my doctor so I can prove it isn’t just in my head 10/10

EDS chronic pain

MMP has given me insights that I didn’t expect. As a health care professional myself sometimes I think I know everything there is to know about pain management but MMP asks questions that force me to face how my own choices may be impacting my pain level. It’s not always what I want to learn but it certainly helps me make a decision if I want to keep on the pain train or make a different choice that might have a more positive impact on the outcome.

Easy to use

Very good, easy to use, would be nice if it had bulk entry for multiple types of different pain at once

Disappointed

I was asked to use this by my doctor, but I find it to be unhelpful for my needs. I was expecting and hoping for an app that allowed me to track what was hurting and how it felt (what, where, when & how it feels), and associated signs and symptoms. For example, wrist and hand pain with swelling, tightness and increased blood pressure. Or abdominal pain with cramping, abdominal distension, sweating and increased heat rate. Although I can list additional symptoms, I cannot include numerical measurements such as size of swelling, most importantly vital signs. I also can’t see any trends between pain and vital signs/ observed signs. I also find it very tedious and time-consuming to complete because a separate entry needs to be done for every individual location of pain. For example my hip pain feels very different than my neck pain. Each need separate entries and this is extremely time consuming when dealing with multiple conditions. I can see this being a useful app for people who think a lot about or focus on their pain. I have the opposite issue where I don’t think about pain and l don’t perceive sensations as painful. I suspect it is designed specifically for addressing the perception of pain rather that tracking with the intention of identification and treatment of the cause of pain (and associated symptoms). That is why I’m disappointed.

Best app to record symptoms .

I love this app because I’m able to track my pain symptoms daily without having to write anything down. So far nothing negative to say.

Great Pain Record Management

Roux55 on

Canada

The pain management app it’s a very great way to chronically record when, where and how the pain feels and the time duration. With all the detail it has I wish that I could record the severity and feeling of each pain individually (back, legs, head, etc) at a certain time. My only dilemma is I have foot neuropathology pain that is usually extreme on the pain scale 8-10 , but I also have chronic back pain that is more dull and aches of a 3-5 at same time. I can’t enter these independently at a same time event other than grouped together.

Impressive
