Description

The Bird We Deserve — a feather-soaked noir where every cluck could be your last
Step onto a rain-slicked farmyard drenched in intrigue and illuminated by flickering barn-lights. Don Papa-Beak, the only rooster mighty enough to keep the coops from an all-out turf war, has been found impaled on a pitchfork outside the granary. Authorities say “tragic accident,” but you—Cluckvino Corleonchi, his secret half-breed heir—know better. One power vacuum, dozens of rival flocks, and a single, coveted Golden Roost controlling grain, water, and the infamous nighttime Hen Bars… welcome to the most cut-throat Bird saga ever hatched.
Why players are flocking to it
Noir-grotesque visuals inspired by classic mob cinema and high-contrast graphic novels fuse with darkly comic barnyard satire. Every frame oozes mood—soot-stained beams, neon “Feather in the Throat” grille-bar glow, and silhouettes stalking through moonlit cornfields.
Narrative that pecks at your conscience. Branching dialogue and moral choices decide who rules the roost. Every decision reshuffles alliances and tips the balance of power.
Anthropomorphic anti-heroes you’ll secretly root for
Cluckvino Corleonchi: trench-coat, half-snapped beak, and a permanent cigar ember that glows in the dark.
Donna Blaze-Hen: velvet-voiced matriarch whose feathers shimmer like wildfire—and whose temper burns hotter.
Carlo “Beak” Partridge, Bronko the Turkey Enforcer, Cheesy Jim the snitch-mouse, and an entire parliament of scheming fowl round out a cast as colorful as their plumage.
A soundtrack steeped in smoky blues. Original music score for that authentic 1950s club ambience—perfect while a sultry hen croons behind chicken-wire at the bar.
Styles that stick. Muted browns and clay-grays splashed with arterial reds and caution-yellow wattles pop off the screen, then dive back into inky black shadows. It’s a playable illustration ripped straight from a satirical magazine of the era.
Sharpen those spurs, straighten that fedora, and remember: on this farm, accidents happen to chickens who let their guard down.
