Description

The YELLOW JACKET® ManTooth™ app receives live Bluetooth® HVAC/R pressure, temperature, and vacuum readings from one or more of the following devices (hardware purchase required):
- ManTooth™ PT modules
- ManTooth™ V modules
- ManTooth™ PTV modules
- P51 TITAN™ Manifolds
The pressure, temperature, and vacuum readings are displayed, along with key system analysis data, in an easy-to-read format with screenshot and data log sharing capability.
SYSTEM ANALYSIS
Besides displaying live pressure and temperature readings, the Pressure/Temp Session tracks MIN/AVG/MAX pressure statistics, displays vapor and liquid saturation temperatures, calculates superheat and subcooling, calculates target superheat, and allows the user to enter and display a target subcooling value. The Vacuum Session displays live vacuum readings, allows the user to enter and display a target vacuum level, and provides a “Hold Test” function for effective system evacuation. For automotive applications, enthalpy charting and troubleshooting information for superheat and subcooling readings provide additional diagnostics information.
VERSATILITY
Converts pressure, temperature, and vacuum readings to your favorite units of measure, corrects for your elevation using GPS, and can be used with any one of 126 refrigerant profiles built into the app.
SERVICE HISTORY
Enter information about each job location and each piece of equipment at that location. Screenshots and data logs taken on the job will be stored by location and equipment with a date and time stamp.
SHARING
Share your screenshots and data logs with others by email, adding other information or attachments as needed.

Worked on android sort of won’t work on iPhone

dont get wireless on

I called yellow jacket because of annoying problems with android snd was told it works much better on iPhone. I got an iPhone It’s worse. I’m told to send it in so they can test on their phone and then tell the app coder to fix it. Nothing definitive ...nothing but guessing. I think the whole android thing was a guess too. “Get an iPhone”. I would give zero stars if I could.

Worked the first time, so far so good

Really?

So many steps to connect devices and then when you’re reading temperature if it goes below zero is shows you 1,677,000 F°. Nice feature.

Come on Yellow Jacket

Very difficult to use. I have to manually pair it to my device every time I use. If the screen on my device goes into hibernate the app crashes EVERY TIME. This means I lose the original information and have to start all over again. I even have to reconnect the device. This is a waste of my time and money. Buyer be ware.

Useful but slow to use

Having to manually connect the device to my phones Bluetooth each time I use them is very annoying. It's a slow process that should not have been in the design in the first place. All of my other Bluetooth service tools connect automatically when they are powered on. If you walk out of range then you must go thru the connection process all over again. My other complaint is that the PT charts are not kept up to date with new refrigerants. Especially the R-22 replacements! RS-44b aka R-453a is nowhere to be found in the list.

ManTooth update

I find this tool useful only when the app stays up to date. Have not been able to connect the ManTooth to any of our phones since the last iOS update

Best HVAC app on the market!

Takes to long to set up and connect. Then if you loose connection have to start over. Bought yellow jacket first did not like to many problems. Then I got the smart service tool from sporlan, like night and day difference connects every time right away and if you get out of range connects right back.also there all wireless, temp clamps and all. They cost two times what the yellow jackets cost, but well worth it.

Just ok

I been using this app daily for about two weeks on service calls with my mantooth 67002, although it has never froze on me but I wish starting a session was quicker. I also wish that I didn't have to press so many buttons to hit the power down option. I would like to see in future updates suggestions on what a problem a/c could be based on the system pressure and temp. It would also be nice to save refrigerants that I commonly use to a favorite list so I don't have to scroll through a long list. Hope the next update brings big improvements.
