MapGenie: Elden Ring Map

Selecting a map icon will shift the map to place the icon up on the top left corner of the screen. At some point, something broke—the icon used to shift to the center of the screen. It doesn’t make the app unusable, but you’re better off finding alternatives.

Honestly the best Elden Ring app. I just wish you could zoom in more. There’s also a bug in which clicking on an icon on the map will cause the map to shift to the right quite a bit. Other than that, it’s a great companion!

When you click on a symbol it jumps to the right and down a bit. Download the other ones tbh. It’s such a small thing but if you do multiple playthroughs it gets annoying.

Went back and got lots of stuff I missed and got the larval tears I needed very useful

The issue I’m dealing with is if I click on anything it’ll just drag the screen down for no reason? Like when I want to see info on something as the info is popping up it drags the map to a random location every time. Making it terrible to use.

Simple and exactly as advertised. Helped me a lot while playing the game.

So I just got the app and it was really helpful for the first hour but now if I try to mark a item as found it just says it could not find the location. Over a good app with great potential but please for the love of god developer Please fix this bug PLEASE!

Where is tech-support? I have a mapgenie.io account. I can login across multiple browsers and multiple devices, including at least two other competing apps. Is just says can’t login when trying to within your app. Obviously the same credits are being used here. I want to use this one! I’ve tried Clicking the developer page from the App Store. It just takes you to Map Genie. There’s no page but I found elsewhere you can email. They don’t support third-party apps! Tried reporting it has may be a bug in the store as well, it won’t let you select this app. Right now this app provides no additional functionality than just logging into the website directly and they’ll at least give you some support via email.

I bought the pro version because I like exploring everywhere in open world games and this helped with that. It’s great but the only problem I have is when you press an item to say you found it, the camera will recenter in a weird area, making it hard to select multiple items as found.

Good part: First time using a map app and I googled around first, getting the best recommendation being this one. Initially the app is good for finding items in an area you know your way around, but if you sign up for an account you can track your progress which is really helpful. Also by clicking icons sometimes it will show in game images of the area which is insanely helpful. It has good descriptions and accurate locations, more information on quest lines and next NPC locations would be helpful but it’s pretty good as is. Sad part: unfortunately, I was able to track which items I’ve found in beginning, but now it says an error occurs and it cannot mark my progress. Very unfortunate as that’s why I got the app. 2. When clicking an icon, the screen shifts down to the right nearly taking it out of view, very frustrating. 3. Sometimes the map takes a few seconds to load, but it just shows white sometimes and that’s very inconvenient. 4. There needs to be more zoom-in capabilities as the icons are often bunched on top of each other, making it hard to tap the correct one. Otherwise it’s a great app and I gotta love it, unfortunately I’ll be waiting till tracking progress will fix itself for me to start using the app again.
