Welcome to MarginNote. This is a highly powerful reading and study software and is applicable to Mac, iPad, and iPhone. By integrating the PDF/EPUB reader and multiple powerful study tools, MarginNote will enable learners to reorganize and connect knowledge from different aspects, then memorize and grasp it accordingly.

Best note-taking / document notation app for University students
I love Marginnote. I have tried (and paid for) many note-taking and document reading apps and this is my favourite one thus far. My favourite part is that there is no lag when transferring PDFs to the app (my major issue with previous apps) and it’s easy to organize all of your material by category. I have to read 100+ pages of academic writing for university each week, and this is the best app for writing notes and keeping all my readings in one place.
Incredibly Unreliable Sync
I have MarginNote installed on my MacBook, iPad and IPhone. I use it for my university courses, as the concept of being able to make flash cards while I read is tantalizing. However, I have used it since September and at least once a week the sync fails: notes lose their categories, fail to transfer between devices, etc. I have attempted to get help from their support, but no response. This is not a product you want to risk storing your notes in until it becomes more stable.

首先特别感谢开发者做的这款APP，真的很良心很适合学生党，基本是PDF Reader，GoodNotes 和 Mindnode的结合版 这个APP特别适合看PDF课本，因为课本比较大部头，不太适合导入类似notability, notePlus之类的APP。 且需要一个类似于大纲一样的东西来梳理，迅速阅读页数比较多的PDF理出笔记是这个APP的核心竞争力 迫切希望能更新的部分，是对PDF的显示。不知道为什么，对比notesWriter，或者任意PDF阅读软件，显示总觉得有点失真，应该是对比度的原因，颜色显示的也不对，背景调了也没有用。不知道我表达的够不够清楚，就是PDF导入后整个颜色好像变淡了，看起来没有在别的APP里面看起来舒服。我觉得这个还是蛮大的问题的，就因为这一点我差点想用回NotesWriter，毕竟对于这种APP阅读体验非常重要 我觉得即使把课本转成完全黑白的那种扫描体，都会比这样变淡要好。另外我个人觉得有些功能可以简化，使得界面更简洁，误操作也会降低。希望开发者能认真参考这个意见，如果说能改善阅读体验，这个APP应该是笔记届的一番，更高的价格也不是不可以接受
Great app!
Perfect for highlighting long PDF books for exams.
Great Research and Learning Tool
Added a 200 page graphics heavy pdf file to this app to see how it performed. Was a little difficult getting used to the interface. Was able to highlight text in different colours. Greatest feature was being able to have the outliner and pdf open at the same time. If I forgot the reason for an annotation I could tap on it in the outliner and it jumps to that section in the pdf file. I like reading articles from the web in this. App allows you to import pdf files as sources into a single notebook. Great feature to use when I come across something that updates previous information i’ve recorded. App seems to handle articles imported from the web as it turns then into pdf files. If you use this on an Ipad grab yourself a keyboard to use. As i’ve read thought highlights i ended up retying then to shorten the notes.

I couldn't download from iCloud. Hard work trying to make it work.

Great study companion
Lives up to my expectation. Complexe but easy to use. Never had a single glitch. Automatic iCloud sync is great - no worries about loosing annotations.
Gem
A perfect single source app for mind mapping documents. Well worth the try. Too bad this app doesn't show well with keyword searches. Hope more people find this app. Some PDF issues appear to be an uploading issue; that may be solved by a progress bar. Developer has good feedback and update priority. Looking to upgrade after some more testing (50 item limit per notebook). Great solution amongst many mind map/flash card/note taking apps out there that are too cumbersome (because you need to have multiple apps and physical books etc. [this is simple; one thing in front of you])
