It’s actually pretty good, there’s so many opportunities things that I can do.

I love how theres tbr dnf and everything else, how easy it is to switch between the covers to make it look more aesthetic, the screen time while reading, and EVERYTHING

The app is well-designed and does what it’s supposed to do: track books and recommend others. If you’re like me and like the community aspect of Goodreads, you won’t find that here. There’s not even a way to see book reviews, only Star ratings that are imported from Goodreads.

Loving the app, but I wish I could record how long I read for instead of starting the reading timer and turning it off. I always forget!

My import from Goodreads is alllll kinds of messed up. Nothing imported correctly at all.

It’s the cleanest, least buggy Goodreads alternative I’ve found without all the distractions of Fable, the slowness of Hardcover, and the confusing interface and ugly aesthetic of StoryGraph. Once the catalog has more books and there’s alternative integration option besides just Goodreads, there will be no reason to use another book tracking app.

Seems like a ridiculous choice and a security and privacy nightmare. Why not use email like every other service on the planet? Immediately deleted the app

This is definitely one of the best book tracking apps out there. Not only is it free, but it comes with so many amazing features. You can search for a book just based on the vibes, change book covers, give half-star ratings, and the app itself is so aesthetically pleasing! Highly recommend!!

Very well thought out app that does a good job at combining aesthetics and workability. The support team is also super quick and very open to ideas. I’ve run into some books that haven’t been added yet and when I messaged support they very quickly input it for me.

When I found Margins I’d thought this was exactly the design and system I’d wanted in a book tracking app. It’s lovely and does just what I would want. But using a phone number rather than an account via email etc is concerning to me. Moreover, it’s not at all clear where the data are and how I can export it or otherwise back it up. Maybe that will come later, but until then I don’t want to commit to this.
