Great app!! ... and some ideas for future upgrades
Hi! I love this app. It goes beyond the limitations some maps have marking a whole country as visited when you actually covered a tiny portion of it (ie: I’ve been to Toronto and Montreal... well, that leaves 99% of Canada as ‘yet to be visited’ in my personal records). Having said this, I wouldn’t color large countries as US, Russia, or China if you’ve visited one little piece of them. I’d use a darker tone in the visited areas, an a lighter one in the others. One feature I’d love to have added to this sort of maps is one that would take note of the air routes flown (past and future) or the road trips covered for traveling from country to country. These routes could be presented as lines or arcs, depending on the map’s projection ( for more detail, visit the MyFlights app). Marking these virtual lines on a map like this would definitely enrich the apps’ functionalities and value to any tourism lover or business traveler.
