Mass Times for Travel

This was a great app. Anytime we traveled I would look up and see where the closest church was and what time their Mass was. However, now it doesn’t work that way. Now, Masses are indicated by the time not the location. This caused me to miss Mass at the closest church this weekend, and have to drive more than twice the distance because the app did not tell me that the closest church only had Mass on Saturday evening. I do not appreciate the change. Now you are inundated with a lot of superfluous information while just hunting for a close church. I received a response from the developer and was advised that you COULD still find Masses by location. The problem is that it is difficult to locate. You need to go to the Mass Menu and select ALL. I would have never found that without their reply. Hopefully it will become part of the filters option. Upgrading my review from one to three stars. I would love to upgrade it to five. I sincerely appreciate assistance in finding Mass while on vacation.

This new version tries to open Google maps. This is iOS and should default to Apple maps. It was a really nice feature that went away in this new version.

The recent major rewrite of the app is terrible. The previous version worked great. Now it is almost worthless. Does not seem to work well. Can’t find closest church. MaP does not expand. GO BACK TO PREVIOUS VERSION.

The new update is a big step backwards. The old layout was much easier to use. Can no longer click on a church on the map and see the details.

Once you use for a while you will appreciate the update

- Mass time text does not have proper spacing so it all runs together into one big wall of text. - The serif font is hard to read and does not scale with the device font size. - Several buttons are too small to tap easily. - Some buttons overlap other buttons. - Navigation is confusing. - Feels like a website instead of an app. EDIT: iPhone 13 Mini. I have used this app for years. It has always worked well and has been very valuable to us. The update makes it sooo much easier to use! I can scroll to the time I am interested in and see the Churches offering Mass then. Thank you!!

New version is horrible. No theme. No viewing by church. Map looks bad. The previous version worked perfectly and was 1000x more useable. I’m very sad I can’t downgrade.

Takes the app from a 5 down to a 1 star. I know it wasn’t absolutely perfect before but now there’s little clarity to navigate in the direction we’re heading. i’m not sure how I can even use this app now. There’s no support, it just takes you back to the app. Um-no. St. Max, Ora Pro Nobis.

The app has been great over the years by being able to locate churches and Mass times as we travel around the world. The search for churches by ZIP code stopped working with the new release (05/09/2023). This feature is needed by travelers looking for churches along a route.
