A FUN AND EXCITING GAMEPLAY:
MoM is an indie clicker idle tapping game that comes with a dark magical vibe. Although it's best suited for fans of dark fantasy and gothic horror such as HP Lovecraft or Stephen King, anyone with a love for idle tapping or idle tycoon clicker games can enjoy this game. The gameplay features an eerie atmosphere, a temple with the forgotten old god Cthulhu's mysterious statue, with its back to the roaring ocean under a gloomy sunset. You have to tap on the statue to signify your allegiance to Cthulhu and collect souls. Collect enough souls and different abilities and spells will unlock, which will allow you to enhance your ability to gain even more souls and the precious Ether with which you will gain the favour of the Outer Gods, becoming ever more powerful. Unleash minions such as cultists and ghouls which will help you collect souls more quickly. You can enhance their abilities in exchange of souls and unlock more powerful minions as you move forward within the game.
On your altar, there are two magical objects: the skull of a sinner and a goblet of blood. The skull is the key to your minions and the goblet of blood the key to the various powers you can have. The powers include those such as the unique Soulflame torches that help your soul collection (keep them alight by tapping!), some that empower your minions, or some that even unlock new stages of madness. Be careful, manage your level of delirium, lest you go insane!
As you progress within the game you will unlock different Offerings that will reward you with Elder Blood. With Elder Blood you can acquire artefacts and engage in Blood Sorcery which will help you in unique ways. Upon collecting a certain number of souls, you will be asked to draw magical sigils that empower you.

Masters of Madness Incremental Reviews

Fun game. I keep playing, when I’ve dropped other incremental games like this

It’s my personal favorite of what it is, a game you let grow over time… and you have to surrender to time, the big boss, in this game. And in that way, I have felt frustrated when I really wanted a game to remain engaged with. It is true that when this game is at the later parts of its cycle, there can be little to do for a while… I’ve grown to accept it like the seasons, how you play changes depending on where you are… when you restart, when you let time work without you… and I keep playing. I can hit it for a few seconds in the bathroom, can essentially sweep in and make it feel “worth it” to keep playing, even without spending much time on it… And that makes it fun to return to. Many similar games, if I don’t make time for them one day, or for a few days, you miss out on things… this one, being more chill but consistent, doesn’t make me feel like I blew it when life keeps me from doing my video game daily chores… spend a while with it and grind harder or hit and and let it work while you live your life. I’ve been playing for a while now. In the end, I love it. It’s gratifying.

Enjoyable

Quite an enjoyable experience. No ads. Simple progression and fun.

Great game

It is a very good game over all, the only thing I would critique is the blood, I think some things should be cheaper, and also there should maybe be a way to earn blood through like quests or some way.

Love this game!

I have this game on Android and have been playing since 2021 and I’ve had so much fun with this that I decided to play on my iPad and haven’t regretted my decision but I was hoping that progress from android could one day be put on iPad and have started the Halloween event and was wondering if the Ghost Sigils could be increased before the event ends

Starts good but… still meh

Update 1: I still play this game every day, but for only a few minutes and the active tapping to blood drop rate is still bonkers. Am I really supposed to tap for hours when tapping produces so few souls it’s not even perceivable compared to idle? The Halloween event is weird; the “reward” for hours of focused tapping amounts to less than two dollars worth of blood. Why bother? The motivation of the devs for this game’s direction is baffling. Original Review: While this game is very good for what it is, ultimately it is not worth your time or money. In 2023 my most played iOS game was “Grimoire”, an incremental idle clicker type game. I loved it but its text only so I looked for an alternative. This game showed up in the AppStore and the mechanics are very similar. Also I’m a sucker for Lovecraft so it was an instant download. After a few days I was hooked so I spent more than $60 to unlock various items as I thought this would be another game I would play every day for a year. But now just a few weeks later I’m to the point where progress is so slow without spending a lot more money that it’s just not worth it anymore. “Grimoire” was $5 and is much more playable as you will never be “stuck” behind a progress wall. You will never get past E42 unless you spend more than $100. It doesn’t matter if you “let the game run” idle for a week, you won’t get past this point, because this is where you will no longer be earning game currency for reaching milestones. $60 should be enough to enjoy an idle game for more than a few weeks. Maybe I’ll come back after a few updates, hopefully devs will make some decisions to keep paying players more interested. UPDATE: I did finally get to E45 but it still takes a week to get there. Another observation is that tapping becomes entirely useless as it’s effectiveness is orders of magnitude lower than just the simple idle mechanic. I tested this just now by reading a page from the book, getting my Madness to level 4, and using the artifact which quadruples Madness stack effectiveness on tap income… there is no perceivable difference to my steady idle income when when tapping as fast as I can. When you get to the mid-game you will never have enough blood points to buy artifacts so you will have to wait for the free one every other day. If you get the “Makes Madness 4x better” item it basically does nothing. Since tapping becomes useless pretty quick I would suggest increasing the “free blood points o

Should’ve read the reviews.

The game is snail paced. Like very. Unless you buy inapp. Read the reviews and it all clicks now, dev slows down game to “rebalance” instead of adding new content. Wow please ignore any response from dev trying to wave off the criticisms everywhere. New update today, bonuses lowered even more lol. Do NOT get this game unless you plan of spending at least $50. Period. No exceptions. The game was designed to be ok, and then they added more and more barriers to make it “slower”, so you’re essentially playing a nerfed game unless you pay.

Whys it require internet

Don’t get why this game needs internet or signal to be played

Good game, bad pricing

Love the game but the price of elder blood is way too high and earning decent amounts of it is way too slow. I'd gladly spend money if the prices were like 10-20% of what they are now.

Games good

If you’re looking for a super simple, slow starting incremental game this may be good for you. I personally enjoy incremental games of all types and this one seems to scratch the itch I have for these types of games. The progression may seem slow at first but it’s not meant to be to where you can prestige 5 times or more in one day, if you’re looking for that go play a game on roblox, this game doesn’t have much visuals besides the weather, the torches, and the crows if you so choose to purchase them with the offers you get from playing the game, although lacking in a bunch of visuals it makes up for it with its art style as it’s kind of got this 8-bit retro style mixed with updated graphics. I’m personally a free to play player and haven’t seen to have needed to bought any boosts from the shop, the progression feels rewarding, especially when you gain multiple levels in your ascending. it starts to speed up over time but don’t expect you to play for a week and be level 10 plus ascension unless you wanna spend money, it’s a slow progressing game and I believe it’s meant to be that way, you’re not forced to pay for in game purchases as free to play allows you to progress, just slightly slower. Out of all things in this game, the only gripe I have is the type of upgrades available at the beginning ascension levels, other than that 5/5.

Elder gods and sacrifices

What’s not to like? Sending the souls of the damned to ancient gods to grant yourself more power, check. Optional ads if I want a boost but not forced every time I click a screen, check. Pixel based art, check. When I’m frustrated at work I just send a few souls to their doom. Solid.
