MatrixCare Clinical Reviews

Thank you for fixing the calendar

Thank you for fixing the calendar, it looks so much better!

No, just no.

Not user friendly, time consuming, updates aren’t checked before releasing so it’s challenging to navigate until they fix.

Support & Ease of Use

Admitting rockstar on

United States

Any time I have an issue I get same day (sometimes same hour) response and help. I found that within a very short time of the new navigation layout I was easily able to switch between the visit and the chart. Now if there was a way to save a DRAFT Comm note that would make a huge difference-waiting on hold to speak to a nurse I start to write my note only to have to back out of it to get the patient’s birth date or something is a pain.

Randomly removes things

This program is notorious for things just disappearing without explanation.

User Friendly

I found the app easy to use and and I was able to navigate thru my visit with minimal training. I love the fact that I get so much history from within my assessment. It’s super easy to see what I have left to document and it takes me right back to where I need to finish.

Wonderful!

Love the navigation. So easy to use. I get most of my documentation completed while in the home now. Very intuitive!

Terrible way to chart

I’ve never thought this system was good when first implemented in our agency

Navigation

I agree with past posts that the navigation of the new system is not user friendly. I would promote returning to the older version as well with the dark and light grey columns, otherwise it is hard to tell if you are in the note or the patient’s chart.

Would Give Zero Stars if Possible

Literally no upsides to this app. -MatrixCare will not make it available on macOS, so I don’t have to carry around two devices. This would be a very easy fix. -The app design is just terrible. The hamburger menus are a joke in how they are laid out, non-intuitive no matter how much you use the app. -Why doesn’t it automatically sync when it has an internet connection? -In-app charting functions are awful. If you want to use templates, make them better -There should be an automatic import option for vitals into a note. -Billing should allow defaults. Why do I have to scroll past “Prison” every time just so I can pick “Hospice”? -Allow other defaults as well. I should not have to click “Time in” and “Time out” each time I bill. I should not have to pick “Non-billable visit” even though I am going to be billing the visit. I shouldn’t have to click “Professional Services visit” every time I am going to bill. -The diagnosis search options are also a joke. This should sync to a well-established ICD-10 database. 90% of the codes are not in there, and you have to type something very specific and random to get the correct code, rather than the more commonly known diagnosis which is not in the system. -Allow medication list syncing more often than every 3 days. -Improve syncing with CommonWell.

Latest Update is Garbage

Speedjouster on

United States

Please make it go back to the previous version. The navigation is tedious and clumsy. I now get stuck in charts and have to restart to get out. The white background with no boxing is hard to navigate and the layout has always been poor. Please do better. Healthcare is hard enough without putting up with this subpar update.
