Matto Espresso

I keep getting emails for new items but the location near me, on busy 9th Ave in Manhattan no less, never has any of the advertised items. It’s so disappointing and annoying when places send advertisements for stuff they only send to one store. I’d rather just skip this place altogether and marking these emails as spam.

I go to matto at least once a day and i have no complaints about their coffee n etc. only complaint is the app. Its pretty frustrating that the app has a “custom” input for adding to your wallet but can’t be below 10 dollars. There should be any amount allowed.. There should also be a QR code or something that allows you to scan in store to use whatever is left on your matto account as well if you don’t want to reload.

The 351 3rd ave store -avoid at all costs .The so called “ owner “ female “ was rude and abusive to my Mrs Had no patience . Refused to help her add money to her account. Told my wife to get out of store . Witness saw all this and she couldn’t believe how rude she was We will not be going to Matto ever again Gave us the middle finger and this is an owner of Matto - great mascot for Matto - give everyone the middle finger and tell them to get out !!!!! I guess they forgot the universal business rule “ The customer is always right !”

$3 drinks are unbeatable!

Espresso drinks all seam to be missing one thing- espresso. They are so weak they taste like mud (and milk or syrup, of course). Pastries look good and baristas are friendly, even if they need training.

I like this place I like the staff the quality and prices

It does not keep track of all orders and after earning the free drink, it took it off so I never got it

App doesn’t remember the previous store location, or suggest the closest store. I have to set this every time I order a coffee.
