Virtual Polygonal Geofence (you will not find this function in any other app)
-Virtual Polygonal Geofence (VPG for short) are user-defined geographic areas in which the drone can fly.
-They are intended as an alternative to the standard circular distance limit managed by the drone firmware, which is not very useful in most scenarios
-Activating a VPG the application will prevent the drone from flying outside its perimeter, progressively slowing down the drone near the barriers until it stops
Each VPG can also be associated with:
-a minimum and maximum altitude
-a maximum speed

Virtual Copilot
a totally new feature to the app, especially useful for drones without native Point of Interest functionality (e.g. Mavic Mini)
choose a point on the map, then ask the copilot to control the Yaw Rotation and the camera to look at that point while you are free to manually fly the drone
the copilot has also more advanced skills like "orbit" ,"Follow / Track ME", "cable cam" , check the manual
the copilot will open the door to great shots even to inexperienced pilots!

Gimbal Modes: Follow / FPV

If you need to look around while wearing the VR headset (goggles) you can switch from Drone Point of View to Your Point of View (using the iPhone camera) by pressing a button on the remote controller.

AR Localizer
You have three Augmented Reality Localizer that will help you orient yourself on the Drone video feed.
The green locator will always show the Home position, the red one will show you the Position and Distance of a Point of Interest that you can choose on Map. The blue one show the GPS position of the piloting device
GPS Error, compass error or barometer sensor error could affect the accuracy of the localizer but will always be a great help to find your destination.
Localizers are available in normal mode, full screen and “VR” Mode

Findet meine Mini 2 nicht

Ho visto che là SE non ha supporto quindi purtroppo non posso usare la App e non dipende da Maven ma da DJI. Supporto eccellente grazie per l’aiuto e la colanza. Se esce l update per la SE lo ricompro. 😎

Ein Muss

Perfekt für DJI-Flieger

Life-Bild flimmert und zerbrochen.

Guten Tag , ich benutze iPhone X und meistens gibt es kein Bild, nur gebrochenes. Es wibriert auch. Dadurch sind die auf USB-Karte aufgezeichnete Videos unterbrochen. Ab- und zu läuft auch alles ordentlich. FlyApp habe ich auch schon abgestellt, bringt nichts. Waypoints habe ich auch ausprobiert, ist OK. Wegen der Life-bild übertragungs probleme bitte ich Sie um Hilfe. Jonny.

Bilder speichern sporadisch

Ich finde die Waypoint Funktion echt super. Besonders für mein Baufortschritt ist diese Funktion ideal da immer wieder Bilder vollkommen automatisch aus der gleichen Position aufgenommen werden. Leider ist mir aber aufgefallen, dass das abspeichern der Bilder total Sporadisch ist. Nach erfolgreichen Flug, muss man auf die Originale DJI App in das Album und findet dann entweder die Bilder vor, oder halt auch nicht. Das ist wirklich sehr ärgerlich da man dann wieder starten muss um die Aufnahmen zu machen. Woran das liegt, weiß ich nicht. Vielleicht hängt es mit der Übersteuerung der Original DJI App zusammen. Denn diese öffnet sich ja sobald der Controller mit dem Handy verbunden wird. Die DJI App muss erst geschlossen werden bevor man Maven öffnet. Aus diesem Grund leider nur 4 von 5 Sterne.

Vieles funktioniert nicht mit der DJI Mini 2

Wow ich bin begeistert, das Ding hat jetzt neben Englisch auch Italienisch drauf. Nur einstellen lässt sich das nirgends. Und gebrauchen kann es in Wirklichkeit auch kaum jemand. Jetzt die neue Benutzeroberfläche, da sucht man aber über der Aufnahmetaste erst Mal vergeben da wie man in das Menü kommt. Hätte noch kleiner sein können, dann hätte man das gar nicht mehr gefunden. Jetzt kommen tolle Fehlermeldungen beim Copilot jetzt 1001. Das ist jetzt die neue Mitteilung, bei der alten Version wurde noch geschrieben das die Drohne im Flug sein muss. Im Menü unter dem Werkzeugschlüssel funktioniert gar nichts bei der Mini 2, da kann man den schönen virtuellen Schiebeschalter soviel auf grün stellen wie man will. Der Grid ändert sich nicht und lässt sich nicht abschalten. Die LED in top wohl eine neue Einstellung die nicht geht und der Rest sowieso nicht wie auch das Histogramm, doch eins funktioniert die SD Karte formatieren.

Sehr gute App leider kein Panorama Mode

Sehr gute App für Waypoints und Mission zu fliegen, mir persönlich fehlen ein paar Foto Funktionen wie zum Beispiel ein Panorama Foto erstellen. Vielleicht kommt es ja in den nächsten Versionen.

100 points for usage with air 2s

for concentrating on taking photos or videos i like to fly in course lock mode. dji fly and litchi do not support this mode for the air 2s. glad to have the maven app now. course lock works fine. thank you so much for this great fly app.

Copilot

Copilot verliert ständig Objekt. Dorne bleibt in der Luft hängen und reagiert nicht mehr. Muss bis auf 3-5m zurückkehren dann geht zwar Steuerung aber Maven muss neu gestartet werden. Habe Support angeschrieben und automatische Antwort erhalten das die sich innerhalb 48 st melden. Vergangen sind 4 Tage bis Heute keine Antwort. Error Code Copilot 6. Bei solchem Support würde ich die Maven nicht empfehlen. Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Active Track Eingeschränkt möglich

Hallo zusammen! Die App ist super aufgebaut! Man erkennt sofort wo was zu finden ist. Ich habe mehrere Flüge absolviert und diese auch ohne jegliche Probleme. Jetzt kommen wir zum Aber ! Ich fliege mit der Mini2, wenn ich über die Maven App (Co Pilot) den Follow me starte, verfolgt die Drohne die Fernbedienung ohne Probleme. Leider aber nur und ausschließlich die Fernbedienung. Es ist nicht möglich ein kleines Feld zu ziehen welches dann getracked werden soll. Hier hat die Litchi App definitiv die Nase vorne!

Kurzum: endlich Waypoints, endlich ActiveTrack, endlich FollowMe mit meiner Mini2. Einziger offener Wunsch: deutsche Sprache der App wäre klasse !!
