The Ultimate Mindful Meditation Tool
Mavy is a fantastic meditation app that meets you exactly where you are, teaching the basics of meditation and mindfulness. Mavy offers an impressive variety of breathing practices designed to help you de-stress, focus, energize, regain balance, build endurance and more. The app is designed for anyone who wants to learn a little, or a lot, about meditation. No religious or spiritual background required. Expertly composed content of the various meditations has provided me with noticeable results - total relaxation, better focus, more energy - depending on which practice I choose. Mavy has this really cool feature ("Emojify") that suggests a meditation based on my mood. Mavy also gives the option to personalize my own meditation using the built-in timer or scheduler, then choosing music, silence or a guided meditation. The breathing practices have superior audio quality that is very easy on the ears - the spoken words make me feel comfortable, like listening to a long-time friend. And as someone who is easily turned off by the "wrong" music, Mavy's background tracks enhance the whole experience for me. It feels like I'm going on a really cool relaxation journey. Visually, I love Mavy's soothing colors, images and shapes with an organic, natural vibe. For me, this aesthetic is more engaging than some of the limited two-color graphics used on other meditation apps. The layout is pleasant and easy to use, not in any way overwhelming, thus contributing to relaxation ( in contrast to another popular meditation app that is laid out in such a visually overwhelming way that it defeats the purpose.) I highly recommend Mavy to help you relax, be present in the moment, de-stress, and to just enjoy each day more and more.
