Connect using your iPad's Wifi and Cellular, or by Satellite! When the app is used with the mazu mSeries device, you have access to sea/weather information and SMS anywhere your vessel is located on the ocean through Iridium Satellites.
Import your ROFFS™ PDFs into the mazu app to display on the map. Tapping a point on the map will jump to the section of the PDF describing it. Imported PDFs can be displayed again later by selecting them in the ROFFS™ list of the Sea State section.
Locate temperature breaks with Sea Surface Temperature Maps and determine water clarity with Chlorophyll Chart overlays, all while proactively managing your trip. Optimize your fishing trip by monitoring the Ocean Current & Structure to ensure success out on the water.
Adjust the temperature scale of the Sea Surface Temperature Maps to modify the colors and focus on a specific temperature range. Select the temperature preference or avoidance range of one of over 60 fish in mazu's Fish Focus list to modify the sea surface temperature colors to focus on areas where it can be found.
Determine the perfect conditions for your trip by executing up to 7-day Point Weather Forecasts as well as NEXRAD Imagery. Manage your fishing route with customized waypoints and the ability to track your position relative to said waypoints. Using the dashboard to navigate, you can easily update weather and adapt to ocean conditions on-the-go.
In addition to NOAA and LINZ Charts, sign in with your Navionics+ subscription within the mazu SportFishing App to access detailed charts and overlay sea state and weather on your own Navionics maps.
Join and manage group chats with friends and family using mazuChat. Stay connected and track the positions of other vessels on the water and simply message one or all through the new SMS interface!
No matter where you are on the ocean, use mazuChat with the mazu mSeries device to send messages to any SMS number.
