MCAT Prep Reviews

Great Resource for a great price

kaitieb2020 on

So far so good. But I guess I’ll really know when I take the MCAT

False Advertising

Megan832 on

United States

This is not a free app as it’s advertised. You literally can’t do anything within the app unless you pay 70$ per year. If it was advertised as that, I wouldn’t have an issue, that’s a pretty reasonable price for MCAT prep. But it’s advertised as free which is annoying and makes me want to spend my money elsewhere.

everything requires the premium subscription

Me x Tamaki on

United States

i just downloaded the app to get some structured studying in over winter break… it SEEMS like the app would be useful, and i wouldn’t mind paying the subscription to use it closer to my test date, as $20/month or $70/year isn’t insane, but it’s pretty misleading to present as a free study tool when everything is locked until you pay.

Great app!

I like how well it is organized!

Great videos

Anna14326 on

United States

The videos included in the premium package are really easy to follow along with - the instructor is good and knows their stuff. It’s a little surface level in terms of what you need to know, but it’s a generally good overview. It should be paired with book learning and other resources.

Amazing!

More students should use this instead of paying thousands for the online prep courses. It’s extremely affordable and the other prep services available are amazing too!

Not worth the cost

Neao77777 on

I got this app because it boasted a large question bank, and there is. But it is riddled with spelling errors, references images that do not appear anywhere, and no way to flag or report errored questions. Any of the videos they offer can be found free on YouTube from other sources, so yea you’re paying for practice questions. It’s $20 per month or $60 per year. If you need to cram a month or 2 before test day this might be worth it, but get ready for frustration and a hit to your question confidence.

Super good app for the MCAT

Farquwart on

United States

This app is a lifesaver. Highly recommend it if you have the MCAT soon and didn’t have a lot of time to prepare, you can use this app to study months of content in a matter of weeks if you put in the time. My only complaint would be there isn’t a way that I can tell to report errors. E.g. there is a chemistry question in the app that says “this molecule” but no picture is given so answering the question accurately is pretty much impossible, or another example would be the teacher makes an error saying sodium is [He] 2s1 but it should’ve been [Ne] 3s1. There’s no way to really give this feedback that I can tell so these errors may persist and confuse other students. Outside of some minor errors like that which are basically just typos, the app is robust in effective for studying and is helping me review and learn a lot for my MCAT coming up.

Love but now I have to pay?

Honestly Meh on

Like the title. Got started and it had some good videos, loved the question of the day. Now it’s all pay for it.
