Why do companies go and mess with an app that didn’t have any problems? I updated the firmware and it still doesn’t connect. I contacted them and it’s clear and tell me it’s just the firmware, but from the reviews it’s clear that many can’t connect either. I wonder if anyone has a brain cell and bring back the previous version so they don’t annoy their customers? Oh, that right it will be the same geniuses that pushed out v2 without realising it has issues!
Version 1 was great, v2 won’t connect so is useless

If I would give the app zero stars I would. The update to version 2 killed the connection to the mower that worked fine with version 1. I was advised by the helpline to update the firmware on my mower and this crashed mid download on windows, so I had to go to a approved reseller about 10 miles away who successfully downloaded the firmware but wasn’t able to connect to the mower despite the mower being visible within the app. They were able to connect my mower to the husqvarma app but this didn’t allow any functionality, so the issue was clearly with the app rather than the firmware. I then tried the helpline again and they said that they knew about the problem with the app (despit saying only a few hours earlier that it was fine) and there was going to another update to the app, but over a month later this hasn’t happened and there isn’t any way to connect to the mower. Don’t waste your time with this one and look for an alternative.
Like the reviewer above. V1 working fine but updated automatically and now won’t connect! How do I get version 1 back?????
My old version app was working fine and I could start my mower as and when it was needed. Now with the updated app I can do nothing!! Won’t connect with the mower and is completely useless. I am so disappointed, I have phoned customer service and am still none the wiser. When is this going to be sorted.
Just a quick update to help anybody else who like myself may be having difficulty connecting after the app updated. Like some of the other reviewers I tried everything to no avail, what worked in the end was updating the mowers firmware. On the McCulloch website they provide an updater for windows and Mac. The process is straightforward but you will need a printer cable. Once connected the update process takes about 5 mins and once complete the app connected to the mower straight away. The updated app seems pretty good as well. Hope that helps somebody. Update: lost connection again and found that resetting all user settings on mower and starting fresh also allowed me to connect.
I gave the answer how to resolve this issue days before anyone else figured it out. Why is my review still not posted. Sent several reviews after as well. Who checks these reviews because they are not impartial and need to be sacked unhappy reviewer
As other reviews. Version 1 worked fine but this ‘new’ version does not work. How are we going to get this fixed? Can we have an option to download the old version please. Update…….many thanks to Gordyh… that’s what we needed. It linked to my iPhone ok, but won’t to my iPad as well. I’ll work on this bit.
