Ditto the comment of AppUser007001 April 2024 review. Struggle to read articles and use as medication reference now cumbersome also. I occasionally suffer the use of this app for the interaction checker. That’s about it these days.

This app freezes way too much!
Lately it crashes frequently, it also seems to use a lot of memory and heats up phone as it is opened longer, presumably loading all the ads. However the contents/resources are good
I used to love this app but for over the past year its almost unusable with the ads causing the screen to “Jump” when using. It used to not do this and is so annoying that I use it less and less. Developers you want the app used more? Fix the screen jumping
No thank you to spy ware on this app. Will cancel. Thank you but NO THANK YOU.
In the past I enjoyed Medscape as a quick reliable resource. The ads now popping up are affecting upload, distract from material and there seems to be no way to remove them. It is a shame but I will now be researching another app that is respectfully of the practice of medicine.
Note: Hold-touch on this review to thumb up if you find it helpful. Otherwise, the app will not change. (I will re-post this review with every update that doesn’t change the ads.) I’ve been using this app likely longer than most of its active current developers. I used to recommend it to others in training. However, recently, the ads have become an insult and an attack on the users. Right now, if you click on a notification for an article, automatically an ad from industry will pop up, which cannot be closed and obstructs the entire article. And when you try to close it, the entire article closes. With the poor search function, you cannot even get search for the article to get back to it. this is not to mention, but other ads when you look at a drug are engineered to pop up exactly where you are about to press. For example, if you open the drug reference, they know you want to click on dosing, and they engineered enough seconds for the ad to pop up exactly when you are about to click on the link, so that you click on the ad automatically opening the ad. This is nothing but an attack on the user. If it had a paid ad-free option, it would be worth it. But currently, with its current trajectory toward ads that are more intrusive than spam website, do not use it. You are better off going with a paid alternative.
WebMD in general is good: recommended to us by several Doctors. App? No. Website? Yes. For many reasons not worth listing here.
They treat their employees just as bad as their app design.
Excellent, wide ranging content. Only negative is how fast the narrator speaks. Admittedly there is much to cover but sometimes Dr. M goes so quickly it is hard to absorb the info
