Some things that must be fixed: When the app closes the song stops and you have to put it back on. When you want to edit the cover or the title of a song it doesn't work. Just that, in the other things PERFECT

The best offline player; nearly perfect
Kudos to the developer for this app! I've tried nearly all offline music players because I have a collection of 1000 songs that I purchased outside of the Apple iTunes Store, and I got tired of messing with iTunes and iTunes Match to get the music into Apple Music. Melodista is the best of them. Its user interface is nearly identical to that of Apple Music. Songs are easy to add, even from the cloud. (I use OneDrive, which is not in Melodista's list of available cloud services. But it is accessible by selecting Files in that same list.) Advertisements are unobtrusive; Melodista is an example of ads done right. Of course, you could purchase the app to do away with all ads for a reasonable $10 or 11€ fee. The only bug (as of December 2022) that I have encountered is with the "Play Shuffled" button. After pressing that button, one song in a playlist will play, but the music player will usually stop afterward. However, pressing the next song icon from the lock screen will resume playing the playlist continuously. I also wish there was functionality for playing by genre. But besides the bug described above and the lack of playing by genre, the app is perfect!

Great app! But I have an issue where I cannot edit any of the music with the app closing. Please fix this!

If you’re looking for an app that allows you to listen to music without buying it, this is it. You just need to download the music from YouTube and then open the song in the app. Once you have your music on the app you don’t need wifi no listen the music. The advertising it’s almost nothing.

I would write a 5 star review but whenever I try to shuffle the songs, the app shuts down.
