Useless
I tried this on many melons and it was correct on a single melon. Save your money.
Interesting but zero practicality
I happened to have a half cut of a full watermelon sitting around and downloaded this for fun. It took some tries to get it working as it is intended. About the results, I only have one sample(and wasn’t even a full melon) so take this with a grain of salt: a few tries, with varying results, but mostly in the range from ripe to spoiled. Each attempt takes 10-20seconds, requiring you to knock the watermelon with the corner of your phone; if you knock too lightly it doesn’t work. That’s why it has zero practicality; imagine going out and buying a watermelon, and as you pick your melon, you gotta knock each one for 15 seconds, with moderate force, enough to pierce the skin to get it working, if working correctly at all. That’s just bad etiquette and makes you look like a madman.
