I love the app, it’s my daily source for aviation news and fantastic aviation tech videos. I was a nervous flyer and the app helps me understanding what is actually going on in the plane and builds trust the pilots operating airplanes The app has a nice and clean design, easy to use and is stable since day one #absolutelyfantastic
Superb community in the chats. Very nice app with a lot of content for aviation travelers and enthusiasts.
That app was okey right before it’s launch 3-4 years ago. Back then the chat was full of people all around the world. Today the chat is empty and you will always find the same 2-3 people discussing stuff about aircrafts no one really needs to know about and are not really aviation related. This older folks use this app as some sort of global privat chat discussion where they discuss all kind of nonsense and it’s boring. If you complain they ban you. You will have a hard time finding any commercial airliner flight students or pilots to get answers. Many questions by interests about what flight school to go stay unanswered. This app is not your choice for information. Check your own agency, state and country and look for resolutions. The videos aren’t a good guide and shouldn’t be implemented in training. The videos only serve for entertainment purposes and you will constantly be reminded to upgrade to premium twice to 3 times all day for 20$. This app is utterly useless with a incompetent stuff that rather keep the right ones out. Best to check any other online forums or apps. Thx
For all who are interested in aviation, the airline industry or for all nervous flyers out there, this is a really good App with great stuff on it. Mentour Pilot is always positive and informative. He explaines everything in a very good manner, so it is easy to understand. Für alle, die an Luftfahrt und Fliegen interessiert sind, ist das eine hervorragende App. Mentour Pilot erklärt ales ganz detailliert und trotzdem so, dass man es einfach nachvollziehen kann. Auch für alle, die Flugangst haben und die es beruhigt, etwas mehr von der Technik zu verstehen, ist das hier eine perfekte App. Und alle, die noch mehr wollen, kriegen mit der Premium-Mitgliedschaft noch mehr Informationen. Mentour Aviation is a really nice App if you would like to learn about Aviation and a great add on to the youtube channel which it accompanies. More than slightly annoying, though, are the constant advertisement notifications (sometimes up to five or so a day).

The AI is great, it’s just that the premium is pretty expensive:$8.99 And I just can’t get into full screen mode so that doesn’t work for me. Even though I am not a premium, I still don’t get a lot of ads. The news are great.
