This is a fun app with mixed results. We felt that the translations for our bengal’s meows, maos & chirrups felt fairly accurate - but a friend with 3 cats unlocked the free trial and reported their results to be way off piste. I kept it beyond the initial trial period only to find a subscription is £7.99 PER WEEK which is utterly, outrageously expensive. It is not $2.99 per month nor is $2.99 equivalent to £7.99 GBP… it would be more around the £2.40 ish mark. £7.99 per week equates to £415.48 over a year. I do not know any apps that provide a service or subscription that charge anything near this. A year of Netflix, PS+, Calm (meditation), Duolingo (human translation) all cost a fraction of this. If there’s an option for a one off or annual cost then there’s no way to switch to this once locked into a weekly subscription, but I don’t believe there is. Having totted up the cost, it’s frankly offensive and not representative of the content value. I would pay the advertised monthly costs if they were actually correct, but the App Store info is false. This is not worth any more than £50 as a one off cost much less £415 in accrued annual costs. I still get ads too!!!! Seems like the devs are basically trying their luck and seeing who will forget about their subscriptions / be daft enough to keep paying it. Me apparently! I’ll be deleting it and speaking to Apple about the complete misrepresentation of costs in the App Store write up.
Bruv this app is more expensive than youtube premium for 8 quid a week its a bit spenny. This app dont even work i fake meowed and it said i said hello
so i was trying to create an account as i heard the app was really accurate and it asked for my email to send a verification email. so i put in my email and nothing came in my inbox - tried many more times, still nothing. tried some troubleshooting and had no luck. all in all disappointing customer service and app
Fake app would never buy this again. Do not trust this and do not even think about buying it. Terrible
When press translate states subscription is required - so subscribed for trial. Pressed translate then tells me to subscribe. Press subscribe then tells me already subscribed. Unusable gave up cancelled trial and deleted app
Possibly the most expensive app I’ve decided not to use after all.
Annoying this app is infected with ads. Also the translation was incorrect. My cat wanted to go out and the translation was “I’m in love” lolll they just come up with phrases people want to believe their cat is telling them. Don’t be fooled.
I downloaded this app to see how it was because I saw so many ads on it Reason's why not to download the app. 1. Too many ads 2: Does not work 3: You have to pay Thanks for reading
How has this got so many good reviews? It records sound before my cat has even meowed. It makes it up as it goes along. It just triggers a response to any sound, it’s not a detector. Shame you can’t upload previous recordings too. But i’m also to blame to believe this stuff! Lovely idea but failed to impress.
