Merge Cooking® Reviews

Looks great

thorntons toffee on

This looks as though it could’ve been my favourite of these merge games, but I can’t escape the hand that constantly gets involved. As an initial ‘how to’ thing it was fine, but I’m quite a way in, know what to do, and it’s still there. So for me, the game is unplayable. What a shame.

Honestly amazing

agreyraccoon on

United Kingdom

It’s addictive yet it doesn’t make you feel like you have to spend hours grinding for stuff. Also does not lead me to hours of procrastination. Its the only game thats lasted on my phone for over a year and counting! No forced ads and you can play wifiless though the minigames aren’t accessible, download it while its still small. There are way too many pay to win functions, but game is still playable.

Board should get bigger as you go on

Shan074 on

United Kingdom

This game is great and probably one of my favourite merge games, but now I’m at level 50 and the item generators and cooking tool things take up nearly 7 of the 9 rows, leaving me barely any space for the items to merge! It’s nearly unplayable now without spending loads of gems for a huge inventory… As the game goes on and you have more of these generators the board should get bigger so you still have space to actually play the game!!

Be ready to spend ALOT of money

ollieeexoxo on

United Kingdom

The game is good but it requires paying for a lot of things. Rarely offer ads as a way to get any rewards. Sometimes you don’t get the diamonds you’ve earned as it never refreshes in time. Also, when trying to get a particular item to merge it will continuously give you 10 of another item that you don’t need just to purposely waste your energy. High diamond prices to finish cooking a meal or to get an item from the store.

Lose of progress

UniqueeeG on

United Kingdom

Firstly I absolutely love this game and have actually invested money into it. However, there are times that a completed order will rest and come back, as well as cooked items. I’m not sure why this is occurring but it’s really disheartening and will cause me to leave the game. As gems and energy I’ve paid for is going to waste.

Cool concept, but disrespectful

ruanailan on

United Kingdom

It’s an ok game, the mechanics are cool. But the content is awful- some of the recipes mush have been made by people who have never heard of these foods. Baked beans made of soybeans? Cheeseburger that’s literally just cheese? Come on. Also, they are clearly not concerned with being respectful of the cultures they’re taking you to, and a lot of it feels like mockery or appropriation. Don’t event get me started on the dream catcher souvenir,

They just want you to spend money now

Dbt vividness on

United Kingdom

It was the best merging game until they took the option to watch ads to complete loading things or to get energy. Clearly a money grab game now.

Great!

I had an issue with ads being buggy for a while, but it’s all fixed now ! Overall really enjoyable game, honestly my favourite merge game. I’m really surprised it’s not more popular!

85 Second long adverts

Hobos Anon on

United Kingdom

85 seconds is way too long for a mobile game advert.

Money grab

katoe14 on

United Kingdom

I enjoy the game but can’t really play beyond 5-10 minutes before you run out of taps on the item generators forcing you to either wait 20 plus minutes or spend money to receive gems to quicker the wait time. I suspect it will be another game I’ll get frustrated with and stop playing due to the waiting times forced upon me.
