「現代電子課本」讓用戶下載現代教育研究社出版的電子課本及圖書，並儲存到個人的藏書架上，隨時在線及離線閱讀。
「現代電子課本」程式的特點：
‧ 提供不同種類的書本，包括各個學科的課本、故事書等等。
‧ 用戶登入後，程式即辨識用戶所屬的學校和年級等資料，根據使用權限提供合適的電子課本，包括校本電子課本。
‧ 如有新電子課本提供，或電子課本需更新，程式會提示用戶下載。

‧ 備有多種工具，例如：記事本、繪圖工具，提升閱讀效果和樂趣。
‧ 支援錄像、錄音、圖片、文件、表格、簡報等不同種類的檔案，圖書內容更多樣化。
‧ 課本設有互動練習，程式儲存學習紀錄及成績，供檢視學習進度。
‧ 配合各頁內容，在相應位置提供教學資源連結，方便瀏覽。

明明封面是廿一世紀現代中國語文，但內容卻是現代中國語文，兩本書內容完全不同。另外，上次更新後，只有上冊課本，下冊不見了。
