Mesmerize - Visual Meditation

The visuals from the ads looked so cool. I figured I could download and stare for a few minutes at some quality trippy visuals. But then as I was opening the app, my concerns were validated. I have to pay to use the app. Figured. “Oh it’s a subscription” I noticed- figured that, too. How much? What? $99.99 for a lifetime use, or $5 a week? For an app?? What? Lol. It’s an app. That’s more expensive than the PS5 games I buy, and I’m sure those developers put in a lot more time and effort than the guys behind this awesome but expensive app.

I had this app for a few months or so it worked great the first week or two and after that I get stuck in a constant loop of trying to upsell me to the premium version. I no longer have access to any of the sounds I was using for free because apparently I shouldn’t have access to my therapeutic devices unless I pay for a year long membership. It was great until all it did was conform to the “your wellness doesn’t matter unless we are paid” stigma these apps usually fall to. My advice would be stop playing people just make people buy the app off of the store rather than let them find things that actively help ground them and calm them then force a paywall on them to get it, or you could make it free with the occasional pop up ad because people shouldn’t have to pay for therapeutic devices. Charged me for the free trial, don’t waste the download. The free trial isn’t free

I forgot that I had tried the free version in March. I wanted to try the free version again. Instead got subscribed without my agreement and now they won’t refund me. So much for helping people with a disability.

Truly amazing app. It has become such an integral role in my routine

Downloaded checked out immediately decided to delete and you cannot get out of their select payment option page so I was charged for $24.99 for what was supposed to be a free weeks trial period. Spoke with Apple the Developers has an issue within the app where it takes you into a loop not allowing you to select the free trial forcing you to select a pay option to even get out of the app. BUYER BEWARE RUN RUN RUN!!! Apple cannot even resolve spent hours on phone trying to resolve.

Thought I’ll try it out but it was trying to force me to buy a yearly subscription for $49.99. I know it was trying to give me a 7 day free trial but I sometimes forget to cancel the subscription before it charges me. I’m not really saying the app is bad but I can’t even get limited access or even an ad after 15 minutes to even see if I wanted to commit to 50 dollars. At least let ‘e try the app first.

This app is amazing! I’ve been using it for a week and I feel so much better. I’m learning to tune out the tinnitus in my head. I’ve been able to lucid dream. The mindfulness meditations are amazing. I am so thrilled that I found this app! I highly recommend it!

This app doesn’t even let you try it before forcing you to pay money. Why would I want to pay for a subscription before knowing I like it? Why is there no free content?

I find this stimulating at bedtime. My music works best for me. How can I get these updates to stop. I have cancelled the app
