Meta Horizon

The previous UI was no master piece, but it got the job done. At least it was easier to navigate the App, especially navigating the store and the account related options has become unbearable. There have been now multiple sales, where I was browsing for something, found something interesting looking, watching the video / reading comments, and then swiping the fingers downwards to scroll up and the store section closes. Who the hell though that making the entire store section just an overlay/ pop up that is coming from bottom to top to be a good idea. Everyone on this platform is used to swiping the fingers to the right from the edge of the screen. Horrible interaction concept. Also finding anything worthwhile like any of the bigger budgeted games or more fun hidden gems is almost impossible. The store is flooded with free to play / cheap trash with no ranking / filtering or moderation. I am not sure if it was really necessary to completely overhaul the UI just to justify the jobs of the UI / UX designers, but know that you have failed. It is objectively worse. And it has lead to me getting frustrated during browsing the store and just giving up. I gave up and thought to myself, those guys don’t want my money, I can take my business to Steam.

Ziemlich nutzlos diese App wenn man sich nicht mit dem passenden Quest for Business Account einloggen kann. Accounts kann man auch nicht löschen um dann einfach von vorne anzufangen.

Ich finde die App eher unübersichtlich und unnötig umständlich. Aber mangels Alternativen lebe ich halt damit. Aber könnt ihr nicht bitte wenigstens Landscape auf dem iPad ermöglichen? Das ist die einzige App, für die ich mein iPad, das normalerweise vor mir auf dem Tisch steht, in die Hand nehmen und in den Portrait Modus drehen muss. Zu allem Überfluss ist die Darstellung auch noch falsch, wenn ich die App erst öffne und dann das iPad drehe. Viele Inhalte ragen dann aus dem Bild heraus und sind unerreichbar. Also, App schließen, iPad drehen, App erneut öffnen. Das ist finde ich schon irgendwie armseelig.

Ich verstehe nicht, warum die Startseite der App den ganzen Horizon World Bereich mit den minderwertigen Handy Games und vielen vor allem für Kinder interessanten world Bereich zeigt. Als Erwachsener interessiert mich das nicht und ich hätte lieber direkten Zugriff auf den App Shop, den man nur umständlich durch Anklicken eines kleinen Icon oben links öffnen kann.
