meteoblue shows high precision weather forecasts combined with a beautiful, simple and easy to use design. Weather forecasts can be requested for any place on Earth easily and comfortably.
What makes this app unique:

The use of meteoblue for iOS is free of charge. Within the app, you can sign up for the "No ads - 1 Year" subscription, which disables all ads for a period of one year. If you choose to subscribe, you will pay the price set for your country, as shown inside the app. The subscription automatically renews if it is not cancelled within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for the next subscription period up to 24 hours prior to the current subscription expiring. It is not possible to cancel an existing in-app subscription. You can disable the automatic renewal function at any time by adjusting your account settings.

Wonderful access to Metoeblue forecast

This is an excellent way to view the wonderful meteoblue forecast on an iPhone as an alternative to using safari to view their webpage forecasts. Their top features are: accurate, give rainfall amounts as well as probability, show isobars on their maps, combine satellite view of cloud cover with rain radar, show forecast for current hour and even the past hour so you can see for yourself how accurate they are. They also link to weather webcams to see real current weather elsewhere. I could go on but just go and try it out as it’s free with only small ad at bottom of screen. I rate it very highly and have paid to remove ads and support them.

Useful predictions

I’ve been using the app for a while in three different countries. The forecasts are regularly updated and provide as much information as possible, including the value of the prediction which is particularly handy. I don’t know what models they use but I have found the forecasts the most reliable (I was first recommended the app by a French farmer as being the most reliable in his experience). My go to weather forecast

The meteogram view is fantastic for a snap shot of the week.

I’m a pilot and use this app to analyse the weeks weather to see when are good days to fly. The only down side I have found is the altitude is displayed in kilometres rather than feet and I can’t seem to change this on the unit settings. This app would be a 10/10 if this change was made.

Get ready to sell your sole to this company. Try switching off all analytics when you save they all switch back. This company is pulling all your information from your phone and selling your profile. Contacted company no reply shocking reported to apple.

For most of the time the forecast is very good.

New Icons

I love the meteoblue app and I‘ve been using it for years, but I’m really not a fan of the new look after the last update. Having the evening weather icon next to the daytime one just makes the screen too crowded. It would be nice if there was an option to show only the daytime forecast. Otherwise it’s as good as it’s ever been.

I got sick of the ads. Eventually found out how to pay to remove the ads. Paid the subscription and I’m still getting ads. Currently in communication with support

Not bad…

Updated: Radar feature is awful! Consistently shows nonsense! Lots of bugs. Could be one of the best weather apps, but… UI and UX could be improved. Also, would be great to have radiosondes data (sounding), weather picker, observed wind and an ability to pin favourite layers. Hourly widget and unlimited favourites would be great too.
