Registration - Getting Started
Whether you’re an existing or new Metro Bank customer it’s simple to get started.
- If you’re registered for online and telephone banking, you’ll need your 12 digit customer number, 8 digit security number and your password
- If you’re not registered for either, you’ll need your 12 digit customer number and the details of the card you used most recently or your Magic Word.
Metro Bank’s mobile app is available for Personal customers and also Business customers if they’re using Business Internet Banking only.
Standard data charges from your mobile service provider may apply.

Worst bank around

I run a business with a multi million pound turnover. The bank is now manually allocating transfers in to my account because they’re worried about fraud even though we are a fully regulated business and have been nothing but transparent in all of our transactions. Sometimes they hold back 6 figure sums which greatly impacts our ability to pay bills. They are a terrible bank and the app is even worse. Move to a bank that will be here in a years time that actually wants your business. Don’t ever waste your time with these clowns.

Terrible customer service on phone, they blame their systems when there’s an error message on the mobile app and are rude when you call them . Go to other banks, don’t waste your time with metro

Crashes sometimes and doesn’t have open banking connections to help you track your finances digitally with the help of apps, but overall okay.

It’s a good app don’t get me wrong but there’s so many flaws I had this one issue that they struggles to even solve and now all I had was no signal and tried to get in said I couldn’t bc no signal so I turned my phone off and it logs me out form my account and bc there a long process to Sign back in now I been locked out so now gotta wait a few days to go in person n solve this issue 👍
