The free version is quite limited, but it gets you the general idea. The monthly subscription is, in my opinion, far too high for a game of this nature. It does not have extensive online features that would warrant such a high monthly price tag. If it were a one time purchase, then fair enough. I’d likely buy it in that case because it is a tidy little game, but for the price of a AAA mmo or premium streaming service? I just don’t see the value position here at all.
