Used this back in 2014 multiple times for several trips to Tokyo. I used it multiple times a day and never got led astray. I’ll be travelling through Europe and again to Tokyo this year and plan to rely on this app again to get me by. Unlike other apps, it’s clear and straight to the point.
This app, although basic, is incredible! Used it in various cities with ease! Possibly the best in Paris where we didn't know the best way to get around, but this app makes it simple! Highly recommend for travels.
Have used all over Europe and now in Tokyo it is the only app I can find that combines all overground and subway lines into one app. It's excellent.
2013: still indispensable! ----------------------- Used this extensively on the Palm, and pined for it on the iPhone. Glad to see that it has been ported, and now with added mapping in selected cities. Thanks to Patrice & Frank
Excellent app, works just like it says.
Am currently travelling in Europe and use this countless times a day. The only bug that I have found is that occasionally it won't allow you to type as the keyboard keeps dropping out. When that happens I have to close the program and others that are running and relaunch. Best thing is it doesn't need the net to work. One of my favourite apps :) Thanks to the people who wrote this app!
I've used this app so many times! It's worked so well for us in europe, Asia, Australia - it's just great and amazing! I travel a lot and this is such my Tavel best friend! Once you download the city you want, u can access the information even when u are offline! That is simply great when you are traveling and you don't have mobile data and/or wifi is unavailable! It deserves 5 stars.. 6 if I had a 6th star to give!
The best app for using the public transport network in many popular cities for tourists. Only encountered two faults. Like the the name implies, it mainly includes metro rail transit systems. fault 1. in Singapore, the app's directions to the zoo say to catch a train to the closest station, then walk. However the zoo is a 30 minute bus ride away, at least. Much too far away to walk , certainly in the heat of Singapore. Fault 2. in Los Angeles, the app says the fastest way from Santa Monica to Downtown L.A. is the Metro Rapid bus from Santa Monica Blvd. This actually the slowest way taking over 2 hours to reach Downtown L.A. Or from Wilshire Blvd. and changing to the subway at Wilshire &Western, which is slightly quicker. However, by far the quickest way is to take Santa Monica's "Big Blue Bus" freeway express, which takes around 40 Minutes. The only way to get the app to show this route was to deselect the Metro Rapid Buses. Otherwise a great app which is always on my iPod when I go overseas.
This app is an incredibly handy tool!!! It's a shame the interface is so dated and clunky because the information it contains and the usefulness when in another city is fantastic. Update the interface and charge for the app. This app is worth it
You put Perth but not Adelaide? That makes no sense.
