Metrobank App

Worst online banking app! Not receiving OTP on registered mobile number even you tried many times to resend OTP. You should have an option to send OTP on e-mail. Your app is very primitive compare to other banking app, really useless. Tried to contact customer service or branch but seems just sending automated reply saying no issues with the system. Need to update your app.

I’m so stressed right now! I have been unable to access my account on your app for the past three weeks. I contacted my network provider, who informed me that there are no issues with their system receiving international numbers. Despite deleting and reinstalling the app multiple times, I am still not receiving any OTPs. Could you PLEASE consider adding the option to send the OTPs to our registered email as well? I am VERY disappointed that such a seemingly simple issue has not been resolved.

I am currently here in UK. There is a problem receiving OTP. I’ve tried so many times but it was not arriving. It was not like this before. I haven’t change my phone nor mobile number.

I’m in the UK and I needed to transfer money to the Philippines and I can’t access my online banking. It’s not even loading so I’m not sure what is going on!!! Sooo frustrating!!

Very unfriendly to use. Too many passcodes/tops required. Many failures when trying to transfer money by Pisonet which was never a problem before. Don’t know why Metrobank enforced the change from the old app. Seems to be a step backward

Im currently in UK. They changed the app that requires your Philippine number. Now I can’t access my money as i need otp. My Philippine number is not working as well. It’s also difficult to update the details online. I don’t know if it’s a good thing that they are “strict” when it comes to details, but now, i am more concerned that my money will be gone one day without me knowing. This bank is not recommended if you are going to stay abroad for long period of time

I have recently downloaded the new app on my phone and my password does not seem to work. I live abroad and I don't have problems with the old app until they change it to this new app. My current password is not recognised. Why do they have to change it to a new one. Why fix when it is not broken.

Can’t log in, been trying for over 6months now, I still I can’t log in, it always says something went wrong!!!!!!

Waste of time and iphone storage. All the updates and STILL NO OTP. Never had this problem with the old app. should have IMPROVED THAT APP INSTEAD. Why would you make a new and even more useless app?? Be better developers!!

Just want to say, I like the new app. A bit slower than the old one but its OK. The design is also much better and modern. I’m not sure why so many are having issues with their OTP but I havent had issues with receiving one so fat.
