New update, and I'm going down to one star. We can now no longer edit a comment more than once or twice (& I hit a *lot* of typos owing to disabilities, including when using the mic). And I can't even delete an unwanted comment in a group if it's been edited. This is a horrific move; it means that we can't delete libellous or hate comments. So I have to go back to using a browser for MeWe. Previously: Update to my review below: The MeWe app is closing paragraphs whenever I edit a comment, which is many times a day. So I’m having to start each blank line with a dot, just to keep the paragraphs separated, which is a humungous pain in the neck. Please deal with and solve this bug. When you're typing something you can easily suddenly lose it, particularly annoying when it took you a while to type or you had to look things up which you'll now have to do all over again. So if you can it's best to type in Notes first so that you can get it back, which is a pain in itself. It's always been like this and it's high time that the developers cured this horrendous bug. Gave ~~3~~ *2* stars because although I find MeWe useful; the app is a pain.

There’s a trend recently among some communication and social networking apps to change their default colour theme. Fair enough, but not enough consideration is being given to those of us who are colour blind. The new MeWe update is awful, and makes the app so hard to use - notifications are barely noticeable now. Add a new theme if you must, but leave room for personal choice, to keep the app layout visible and usable!

Fix the damn icon gifs for phone users, also the ability to see incoming messages has been absent for almost 4 years.

Recently accepted new terms and conditions and the immediately changed my personal and unique user Id, by adding totaly irelivent numbers to the end of user name, what a truly awful thing to do to members. Avoid

This was a great platform but, unfortunately from today, I’m no longer able to log in to my account due to not accepting the forced “upgrade” to Amplica’s digital id. Sad to be leaving the groups I joined and the many friends I made over the past 2 years. Such a shame; very disappointed Mewe decided to take this approach. For users looking to sign up, please do your research.

Can login fine on the desktop. Try on my mobile and it says the password is wrong, then does some Captcha system asking to pick an animal, which I do, then says password is wrong again, and won’t log in. On the desktop site, I can’t open chats, but I can see the list of them. Absolutely rubbish

Refuse to allow delete App. Will take money after 30 day trial. Refuse password. Refuse, forgot password, in case written wrongly in' password book. Keep saying 'no public access'. Which is bizarre, as accessed from my App. Basically no contact or help from App developers. Have reported to Apple/App store. Allowed Apple access to my screen, they witnessed the impossible directions and refusals. Con job!

Great app, though I’m constantly missing notifications on iOS. Any chance this will be fixed?

This app is where I spent to find friends and groups of other people. Sadly since mid 2020, it’s gone down hill. They took out the ability to see typing in community chats, so at times it doesn’t show much reason to talk in communities, unable to know who’s around, not to mention they downgrade how images can be used as gifs for profile pictures and banners. Speaking of gifs, you can’t download any that’s been posted in chats, which is quite stupid. Also- why is there a storage space? Discord, twitter and other app does not own this useless tedious feature, and if you want to add it, make it easy to clear the storage damn it- I know rating this a 2 star is a bit too much, but this app is still a bug on many occasions. If you type, you’re having to be put down to the recent messages, which is annoying if you want to type and look at a group of messages to determine what you’ll type. Please, understand your damn consumers. If you want a successful app, make it available and fully easy to use. Albums are limited to only photos?? You could do both in the past. This is getting out of hand.
